Very Light!

I have several kids, and due to that I know a thing or two about car seats, having owned more than I would want to disclose. =) This infant car seat is the lightest of all the ones we have used, and surprisingly very easy to install also. There is no pulling and pushing and sweating... all it takes is to thread the belt and close the seat and that's it! Most of the car seats out there also have the handle releases in both sides of the handle, making the adjusting so very awkward in small spaces. This car seat has the adjust lever on just one place, the top middle, which makes adjusting it a breeze. Our 6-month old and 18-month old both can use the seat because of the weight range as well as because of the the no-rethread harness which makes the adjustment between babies virtually no sweat. I like that I have all these cool features for a lower price than most of the competitor brands, but my most favorite feature is the lightness of it which makes transporting babies less of a chore than before.l Thanks to weeSpring Parent Panel for sending this seat my way, I really love it!

First off, this car seat is super easy to install. I did it myself using LATCH, when normally my husband has to help me. It fits well in my 4 door sedan and leaves room for the seats. The handle made the car seat easy to get the seat in and out and was super convenient. My favorite feature was the no rethread harness, because trying to rethread a car seat can be sooo frustrating! I also really loved the quiet canopy feature, because my baby is a avid car sleeper and I hate to wake her up adjusting the canopy! The only think I didn’t like was that sometimes the handle got stuck, but it wasn’t a huge deal.

Baby loves Snugride

If you are looking for a great, user friendly car seat, the “Graco Snuglock Snugride 35 LX 1-Hand Adjust Infant Car Seat” was a great addition to our families needs. As a first time mother, having a safe car seat is very important to us. When we received this car seat the first thing that we did was read the directions for the base installation. The directions seemed complicated, but looking at online resources and videos of how to install the base we were able to do so more easily. The base feels very secure and an added bonus are the levels which show that the base is installed correctly for the child’s weight class. Once the base was installed we tested the carrier and were thrilled with how easy it was to get the carrier in and out of our car. The adjustable handle on the carrier is another great perk that comes along with the Snugride 35 LX. The handle has a single push button which makes it very easy to adjust, especially when the carrier is already placed into the car seat base. I am under 5 feet and I struggle when using the two button adjustable handles because I can’t reach across the baby and car seat when the carrier is already placed in the car. The handle is definitely a gamechanger and makes my life SO much easier when toting around my baby. The car seat itself has no-rethread harnesses and it is very easy to adjust to my child’s height. The Snugride seems to be wider than our other car seat, but the harnesses definitely make us feel that our baby is snug, secure and comfortable. Some of our favorite things about this car seat is how lightweight (7.5 pounds) it is in comparison to other car seats we have looked at. My husband and I also feel that our child is more well ventilated because of the slightly wider design which is very important since we tend to have warmer weather the majority of the year. This car seat can also be used as a travel system and is adaptable with our stroller which is click connect adaptable. Our only concern with this car seat is how quickly our child will outgrow the seat. He is 27.5 inches at 6 months and his feet are very close to sticking out past the end of the car seat, so we will hopefully stay within the height limits for awhile longer. Overall, this car seat has exceeded our family’s expectations and we are so thankful to the Weespring Parent Panel for letting us test this product!!

The best carseat base I've ever used

My favorite feature on the Snugride Snuglock 35 LX is the snuglock base. Instead of wrestling with the base and perching precariously on top of it in an attempt to properly tighten it, I fastened the latch hooks, pulled out most of the slack, and pushed the snuglock down until it clicked.
The base is also super easy to level. I just squeezed the handle and either lifted or lowered the base until it was level and then released. I no longer dread moving the carseat between vehicles.

The carseat is the basic Graco infant carrier with a few snazzy additions. It's harness does need to be rethreaded to adjust height, but it only takes a minute or two to accomplish. The seat came with padding to adjust the fit for little babies, and they are cozy and soft. I especially like the shoulder pads that protect delicate neck skin from any chafing from the harness. The canopy is made of a soft knit fabric that is quiet when adjusted, instead of a loud canvas. All the fabric parts of this carseat feel high quality and comfortable for delicate skin.
I have mixed feelings about the one hand adjustable handle. I love that I can move it one handed, since I often have a baby in one arm when moving it. I wouldn't go back to the old style that required two hands, but there are two things I don't love about it. To move it you press the button in the middle of the handle and push or pull it in the direction you want it to go. It moves to the second position from the first, but then you have to fully release the button and press it again to move it further. The pressing and unpressing the button gets annoying when in a hurry. The other thing that is inconvenient is when the handle is all the way down, touching the ground behind the seat, to put it up you have to reach all the way down to press the button and move it up. I would love to have the button on the sides like before, but only need to press one at a time to move it. These are only minor inconveniences in an excellent system.
The carseat is easy to install and use. And with a 35 pound weight limit and 32 inch height, my daughter should able to use it until close to two years. I would definitely recommend the carseat. Thank you weeSpring Parent Panel for giving me this carseat to try.

Love the 1-hand adjust handle!

As a mother of three, I've tried a couple different types of infant car seats. A few things I look for are ease of use (getting the child in and out of the seat, hooking up the car seat base, and getting the car seat in and out of the base), safety, and ease of adjusting the straps. Thanks to the weeSpring Parent Panel I've gotten the opportunity to use the Graco SnugRide SnugLock 35 LX 1-hand adjust car seat. When looking at the car seat it looks very sleek. My first thought was how great it was going to be to be able to adjust the handle with one hand! The padding inside the car seat is very cushiony and feels like it would be very comfortable for baby. Adjusting the straps was quick and easy. After putting my son in the seat he seemed very content. The latch system on the seat base made hooking the base into the car quick and easy. I love the compartment on the base to hold the latch straps when not in use! It keeps things so much tidier and you don't have straps hanging all over the place if you have to take the base out of the car. During our first car ride in the SnugRide SnugLock 35 LX my son quickly fell asleep making the quiet sun shade come in very handy. I was able to adjust the shade to keep the sun out of his face and keep him asleep! My favorite feature of the car seat is the one hand adjust handle! This has made daily car rides so much easier. With three children I constantly have my hands full when trying to get everybody out to the car or into the house. Being able to adjust the handle with a single button with one hand has been amazing! It especially comes in handy when trying to adjust the handle in the car and not having to reach over the top of our baby to reach two buttons. My only worry when reading about the SnugRide SnugLock 35 LX 1-hand adjust was the weight of the seat itself, it seemed a little heavier than the seat we were previously using. Our son is slightly above average on his weight so having a heavier seat was noticeable at first. We have since gotten used to it. Overall I love the car seat and would highly recommend it!

Amazing Improvements to Make Life Easier

Overall I love the updates and new features on this model of Graco infant car seat. I had a Snugride 35 for my first child, and have now used the Snugride SnugLock 35 LX (I received this product from the weeSpring Parent Panel) for my second daughter and I'm highly impressed. The Snuglock system makes installing the car seat base a breeze- installed in 1/4 of the time of the traditional seat base system due to the easier to use InRight Latch connections and the SnugLock mechanism for tightening it- it also was extremely easy to tell you had it in and had it tight. The storage compartment for the Latch connectors keeps everything tidy and the manual in a place you can easily find it when you need it!
The 1 hand-adjust handle was very nice for times I was not able to use both hands, it made it so much easier to just adjust the height and go. Only small issue was that transitioning between settings for the handle did take a few button pushes sometimes as it seemed to get stuck a bit. It was easy to get in and out of the car. The improved infant head rest cushions are really nice as well, and easy to take out the bottom piece when it needed washing due to inevitable infant messes. I really like the fabric on the new Silent Shade canopy, it is much more 'fabric'-like than 'vinyl'-like and goes up and down easily-therefore I actually used it frequently.
Overall my favorite part was the SnugLock system for the car seat base. I had to swap car seats between my car and a rental car in the middle of a parking lot, with both kids in tow, on my own, and the SnugLock system literally saved my sanity for getting the infant seat swapped over.

Cute and Light !

We loved this Graco car seat for our babe. She’s 8 months old and steadily growing so I was a little concerned it would be too heavy to carry in and out of the car however it was pretty light. We are aiming to keep the baby rear facing for as long as possible but we want her to be comfortable. The materials used for the car seat are super soft but good a quality. I really loved the sun shade bc it’s light and lighter than most that I’ve seen. Being a mom of 2 , I need easy adjustments and I’d like to say that was my favorite feature of the car seat. I won’t you how many nails I’ve broken readjusting our other car seat lol. My husband is definitely the installer of all things but I wanted to try this one out myself , I managed pretty well. Thank You weeSpring for this Graco seat. It’ll be our go to for traveling. Ironically enough , we originally had our eye on this car seat but needed a double stroller so we opted for another. We’ll alternate now ! Also , loved the fact that it can recline and fit in a small car ! My only really wish is that this came in a lighter color -like a pink and gray or something like that because we live in a very hot/tropical climate!

A Solid Choice

Thanks to the weeSpring Parent Panel for providing me with this car seat. I recently had my second baby, so it was the perfect time to try out a new car seat! I really like the styling of this car seat - the neutral colors are classic. My old car seat with bright colors is already looking a bit dated with my second baby. The bucket seat on the Graco SungRide SnugLock 35 LX is pretty light for carrying. The fabrics on the seat feel like soft, quality material, and I love that the canopy doesn't make any sounds when adjusting. The one-handed adjustment feature was a little lost on me, because on my previous carseat that was the button to push to release the carseat from the stroller attachment, so I kept wanting to do that instead. It's a nice feature, but maybe not the most necessary. One thing I wish this car seat had is a no re-thread harness. It's worth a few extra dollars to have that feature and makes adjusting on the fly a lot easier when you notice your baby has had a growth spurt! The best thing about this car seat is the base! It's pretty straightforward to install and it feels SO secure. That click gives me peace of mind that the car seat isn't going anywhere! The only little thing is that my two other car seats from two other brands both have level indicators on both sides of the car seat. This car seat only has the level indicator on one side, which is unfortunate, but it's still pretty visible when the bucket isn't on yet. I look forward to using this car seat a lot with my jogging stroller since my other infant car seat isn't compatible. It's a great seat for the price point!
