Very heavy, handle gets stuck, strap issue

I got this seat because of the safety features but I wouldn’t buy this seat ever again. When adjusting the handle it gets stuck in the canopy every time! It’s so frustrating to click the car seat into the base but then have to spend time fighting with the handle and canopy to get it in the proper traveling position. Then it’s the same fight to get the handle back up to take the car seat out. This seat is also very heavy! I delivered via csection and with my 9lb baby plus the car seat weight it’s to heavy to lift! I have to take her out and put her in a front carrier if I want to go anywhere without someone’s help because I cannot carry the seat for any distance. My last complaint is the straps are very tough to tighten. When they are tightened to where they should be they curl out at the top. The click feature is nice so you can use it with any of the other bases and strollers. Also the extra little flap design to keep sun out of babies eyes is a good feature if it didn’t contribute to the issues with raising and lowering the handle. Overall I don’t think it’s worth the price I paid for it with all the cons for the product which is sad because I do like graco products usually.

One Hand Adjust is a Game Changer!

I received the Graco SnugRide SnugLock 35 LX 1-hand Adjust Infant Car Seat as part of the weeSpring Parent Panel and was very excited to try it out. It was very easy to install with the latch system, which in my opinion is the most secure method. Took no more than 10 minutes to install the base and tighten according to the manufacturer's recommendation. The adjustable base with the level indicators take out any guess work out of determining if the seat is properly reclined.
The adjustable 1-hand handle is a game changer. There are never enough hands with everything you have to carry with a baby, so this is huge! Definitely my favorite feature of the seat. The weight of the actual seat was super light and easy on a new mom. Getting the seat in and out of the car was pretty easy---had some issues initially but I think that was mostly user error. I've figured out I have to push the button a little harder than what you'd think you have to in order for the seat to detach (definitely not a deal breaker for me).
I also liked the canopy---it was very quiet (no clicking) and was big enough to give baby some shade on our walks. Given that this carseat also clicks into my Graco stroller, it will be super easy to use all day from the car to walks in the neighborhood.
My real only criticisms are that thee fabric could be a little softer for baby and the initial fitting of baby in the seat took some trial and error. While the no rethread is nice, it takes a bit of effort to figure it out (again could be user error). Baby was a preemie so when we first started to use this seat, he fit but as a new mom, I was worried he wasn't secure. As he has gotten bigger (way too quickly!), moving the straps up was a breeze---overall a really nice feature.
Very happy with this carseat and excited to see how it wears with time!

Very Light!

I have several kids, and due to that I know a thing or two about car seats, having owned more than I would want to disclose. =) This infant car seat is the lightest of all the ones we have used, and surprisingly very easy to install also. There is no pulling and pushing and sweating... all it takes is to thread the belt and close the seat and that's it! Most of the car seats out there also have the handle releases in both sides of the handle, making the adjusting so very awkward in small spaces. This car seat has the adjust lever on just one place, the top middle, which makes adjusting it a breeze. Our 6-month old and 18-month old both can use the seat because of the weight range as well as because of the the no-rethread harness which makes the adjustment between babies virtually no sweat. I like that I have all these cool features for a lower price than most of the competitor brands, but my most favorite feature is the lightness of it which makes transporting babies less of a chore than before.l Thanks to weeSpring Parent Panel for sending this seat my way, I really love it!

First off, this car seat is super easy to install. I did it myself using LATCH, when normally my husband has to help me. It fits well in my 4 door sedan and leaves room for the seats. The handle made the car seat easy to get the seat in and out and was super convenient. My favorite feature was the no rethread harness, because trying to rethread a car seat can be sooo frustrating! I also really loved the quiet canopy feature, because my baby is a avid car sleeper and I hate to wake her up adjusting the canopy! The only think I didn’t like was that sometimes the handle got stuck, but it wasn’t a huge deal.
Over all 5/5 stars.

Baby loves Snugride

If you are looking for a great, user friendly car seat, the “Graco Snuglock Snugride 35 LX 1-Hand Adjust Infant Car Seat” was a great addition to our families needs. As a first time mother, having a safe car seat is very important to us. When we received this car seat the first thing that we did was read the directions for the base installation. The directions seemed complicated, but looking at online resources and videos of how to install the base we were able to do so more easily. The base feels very secure and an added bonus are the levels which show that the base is installed correctly for the child’s weight class. Once the base was installed we tested the carrier and were thrilled with how easy it was to get the carrier in and out of our car. The adjustable handle on the carrier is another great perk that comes along with the Snugride 35 LX. The handle has a single push button which makes it very easy to adjust, especially when the carrier is already placed into the car seat base. I am under 5 feet and I struggle when using the two button adjustable handles because I can’t reach across the baby and car seat when the carrier is already placed in the car. The handle is definitely a gamechanger and makes my life SO much easier when toting around my baby. The car seat itself has no-rethread harnesses and it is very easy to adjust to my child’s height. The Snugride seems to be wider than our other car seat, but the harnesses definitely make us feel that our baby is snug, secure and comfortable. Some of our favorite things about this car seat is how lightweight (7.5 pounds) it is in comparison to other car seats we have looked at. My husband and I also feel that our child is more well ventilated because of the slightly wider design which is very important since we tend to have warmer weather the majority of the year. This car seat can also be used as a travel system and is adaptable with our stroller which is click connect adaptable. Our only concern with this car seat is how quickly our child will outgrow the seat. He is 27.5 inches at 6 months and his feet are very close to sticking out past the end of the car seat, so we will hopefully stay within the height limits for awhile longer. Overall, this car seat has exceeded our family’s expectations and we are so thankful to the Weespring Parent Panel for letting us test this product!!
