The car seat is Lightweight and base is easy to install. I love how easy it is to take car seat in and out of the car thanks to the base click technically. This is our second Graco snugride snuglock 35 car seat because we loved our first one so much.

Don’t waste your $$

The safety surround really prevents the straps from being able to be at or below baby’s shoulders for proper fit. Doesn’t seem The most comfortable; baby is kind of crammed in under the surround. The safety surround is quite large so I see there being more issues as he grows. We were drawn to the protection the safety surround would provide but only feel it has made the seat unsafe.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Seat warming labels retains heat

I like many features of this car seat. The single button handle release being the main one. But my baby is five weeks old and we have used the seat a handful of times. It doesn’t take very long for the seat padding to get hot and then I have to stop and take her out to cool off. I know I generally car seat padding gets warm but the placement of the warning labels is completely illogical. Because they aren’t fabric labels they get hot quickly and don’t promote air flow or heat distribution. Going to try adding a cloth seat cover or cooling pad.

Thank you for reaching out to Graco Consumer Care! Some troubleshooting steps to assist in this can be placing a thin white/light colored towel over the car seat when it is not in use. This will also help keep the seat fabric cool during the summer months, especially if the car seat sits in direct sunlight. I hope that this helps!

Not washer safe.

We bought this car seat in 2021, we just had our baby in Feb. 2023 and I’ve had to machine wash it a handful of times. And the fabric right about the chest straps completely ripped and there’s not replacement for it. I would opt for a different car seat. Especially if you wash things.. for the price and considering there’s no replacement it’s not worth the money.

Broke after 18 months

Ours got stuck in the base after 18 months. Baby is 23 lbs and still needs a rear facing seat. DON'T BUY THIS UNLESS YOU WANT TO BUY A SECOND SEAT.

Easy to use!

I was provided this product for free in exchange for my honest review. So far, after a couple weeks of use, I am very pleased with this car seat. I prefer the SnugRide SnugLock 35 over my previous car seat for a few reasons. The placement of the base release is in a spot that's easy to get to and easily releases seat from base. It has a recline feature with level indicator and both are easy to use. I also like that there is a storage compartment located in the base where the manual and Latch system can be stored. The padding on and around the seat looks and feels comfortable for my baby, and I like the overall look and design of this car seat which blends in nicely with the interior of both mine and my husband's vehicles. This car seat has visible labels on the outside of it that explain how to install it properly, which is a nice feature for those watching our baby so they can learn how to install it. Graco did a great job making the process of strapping baby in effortless. It's easy to loosen or tighten the safety belt making strapping baby in less of a hassle. There are a couple of things that I didn't like.., the canopy hits the handle and is not the easiest to open because of this, but I thought it was only a minor inconvenience. My husband was not impressed with the Latch hookup because it's plastic and doesn't hook to vehicle as easy as we would like... Overall I'm happy with the Graco SnugRide SnugLock 35 infant car seat and would recommend this product.

MY FAVORITE CARSEAT YET!

I ABSOLUTELY love this carseat. I love the design and the material made to use this carseat. It is so smooth and soft for my baby! This is the easiest carseat to install that I have ever had. I no longer mind having to move it when we switch cars! The silent shade is an absolute blessing! No more waking up the baby!! Being able to move the handle with one hand is just the cherry on top! Way to go Graco on this one!!

Ok for the first 4 months

I bought this 8 months ago and I was in love with it I love the fact it had the head support however now my baby is 6 months old and I can not use this car seat bc his head is to tight in between the head support. So was a waste of money didn't get to use it long . very disappointed
