Great until..

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had two of these car seats. It fit with her graco stroller. It’s only getting 3 stars because I realized that we had to get new car seats when she was no longer a baby.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Basic Car Seat

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this product for my child because the other one we had was too big (for children 8lbs) and our child was only 6lbs. I believe this one is safe for children 4lbs and up. We loved how secure our child felt. It is not heavy to carry, nor bulky and it was easy to clean.
What I dislike is how fast he out grew it, within that first year. It can hold children up to 35lbs but our child just looked too snug at 24lbs.
I would recommend this to a friend!

headrest feature doesn't work for babies over 4 mo

I originally bought this carseat because i liked the headrest feature. It seemed safer for my baby and i love the look of the seat. At about four months I noticed that the headrest feature was pushing down on my sons shoulders. When I moved the straps up (another feature I liked that you didn't need to rethread the straps) it would move the headrest higher so it would not push on his shoulders but then the straps were too high for him and no longer safe. It's a design flaw and there is no way around it. Also, the seat increasingly got more difficult to unclick from the base. I stand outside my car sometimes for 5 minutes trying to get the seat out...And when I click the seat into the base it will click in, then I adjust the straps to my son and it always clicks out by itself. This is so unsafe. I did file a warranty claim with Graco and they offered me to pick out a new seat but all the seats are sold out that are of a comparable price. I now have to go buy a new one and send back the seat (with paid shipping) but that means I have to find a big enough box and call fedex for a pickup which is a pain. Overall, I probably won't be buying anything else from Graco. They tried to resolve the issue but they don't really have many options for actual resolution.

Not happy with this seat

This seat is not for newborns, no head support, it is too big. Even now my baby is 2 months, she just don't fit in it, still no headsupport and she is way to upright instead of laying in the seat. The baby is basically flying in the seat. I would never recommend this seat. The only thing what works well is the click in system for in the car.
