SnugRide® SnugFit™ 35 LX - great car seat!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Graco SnugRide SnugFit 35 LX is a great car seat choice. The fabric is a nice neutral and seems to be good quality that will last through multiple outings. The anti-rebound bar is a nice feature to have (and this addition seems cost-effective as compared to other brands). Baby feels secure and protected. The 4-star rating is because the installation took some time to make sure the adjustable base was installed correctly, and the car seat release button is slightly difficult to access. However, the carrying handle is nice since it only requires one button. Overall great car seat - thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this car seat!

Super easy, safe, baby loves!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this car seat from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. We’re first time parents and did lots of research prior to getting our first car seat. We wanted something safe, lightweight and versatile. We used a different brand for our baby’s first few months. He was good in the car for a while but then all of sudden started hating car rides-until we received this one to test. He’s now back to being a happy baby in the car which means we couldn’t be happier.
First of all, the seat was super easy to install and we immediately felt confident with the security of it. It was so easy to make sure it was level with the super easily adjustable base and I love how there are various ways to install (latch, seatbelt with base, seatbelt without base). As a new mom, I only have experience with one other carseat but the snug lock technology on this Graco easily comes in first for ease of use and sense of security. Plus, the anti-rebound bar gives an extra level of safety that gives me extra peace of mind.
We’re also excited that you don’t need the base to install it so we can bring it with us when we travel.
I love how easy it is to adjust the headrest and recline. It can be such a pain/project with others seats but literally takes 2 seconds with this one. It’s also light enough for me to get in and out with ease. My favorite thing by far is how much my baby likes it and hasn’t cried once in the car since we got it!

Great Lux update with high quality touches

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve used Graco infant seats for all of our kids and were excited to get to test this seat through the Stellar Product Testing panel. The fabric in the seat is really nice and soft - but cleans up well and feels durable. The installation was super easy - and would be a breeze for new parents and grandparents. I don’t love the canopy though- it covers well and the fabric is UVA blocking but my older kids always pull on them and this didn’t feel like it could withstand all that. The anti-rebound bar is a great safety addition too and I LOVE the no rethread harness (aka you don’t have to undo the straps in the back and feed it back in the next slot to adjust the height as your baby grows). Overall a great lux and high quality car seat.

Great car seat overall!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks to the Stellar Panel for providing me with the opportunity to review this car seat. This infant seat is a great choice for many parents. I absolutely loved how light weight this seat is and it was not hard for me to carry around with baby in it. The seats fabric choices are really easy to wipe clean and I liked how it is a gender neutral design. I had absolutely no problems installing this car seat. I first read the very detailed instruction booklet that was included and it was then a breeze to get installed correctly. The feature I like the most is the button on the handle adjust. In other car seats I have tried, you have to hold both of sides in order to move the handle to the correct position. I also really loved the easy adjustable headrest. It is so simple to move it up or down depending on the height of the infant. I also really love the anti rebound bar that is built into the base. Having that added safety feature really gives me the piece of mind that I’m keeping my baby as safe as possible.
The only negative that I have found is it is a little difficult to adjust the straps. The button to give the straps slack is kind of awkwardly inside the seat cover. I would say it would definitely not be a deal breaker when choosing to purchase this seat.
Overall, I really loved that I was given the chance to test this product from the Stellar Panel and I would definitely recommend this car seat to family and friends. I believe Graco to be a really trustworthy brand and it rings true within the build of this seat. Parents and caregivers can feel safe and confident in using this product.

Very convenient to use

I love how easy it was to install and just clicks in and out with ease. We have a stroller that makes it fast and easy to just click on the stroller while baby sleeps. Unfortunately I’m giving only 4 stars since ours didn’t come with the shoulder pads that go on the straps and this causes the straps to leave red marks on baby neck at time when he falls asleep. Not sure why ours didn’t come with these shown in the picture.

Hard to tighten straps!!!!

I bought this for my baby who is currently 5 months old. The installation is easy which is nice. But I can’t tighten the straps easily to fit him properly (when he’s in the car seat). It is not a fun thing to use all your strength to tighten straps after just giving birth. I even have to step on the car seat and use my whole body to pull the strap to tighten it.. i have checked multiple times to see if maybe I installed the straps wrong but I have not. Not very happy overall.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very disappointed

This may be an issue with just my seat, but it isn’t safe. I love the seat but the connection of my seat to the base is troublesome. I have to shake around and fiddle with the seat to safely secure the seat. I have to head almost 7 separate clicks before the seat is in. We have reinstalled the base many times trying to see if we made the error but nope.
Removing the seat is almost impossible once the car eat is connected to the base. I often unbuckle and carry my newborn in which is a pain and defeats the purpose of a seat that I can carry.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
