Good Idea, but not practical

Since it is now reccommended that children stay rear facing until two to four year olds this car seat seems like a great way to only buy one rear facing seat, however it is not practical in most vehicles. I tested how this fit in a hatchback and a minivan. In the hatchback if it is installed without the extension someone could fit in the passenger seat, however if it is extended a passenger could not fit. In the minivan a passenger of my height, 5'5", could fit when the carseat is extended, but someone taller could not. The base was more difficult to tighten than other car seat bases I've used, but the straps and head rest were easy to adjust. My one month old, who is 6 pounds, fit well when the head rest was on the lowest setting. My 20 month old, who is 25 pounds, fit in the car seat with head piece on the highest setting, but not for long. He is tall for his age, but since this seat is designed for extended use he should have been able to fit past two years old. The head support is more substantial than other infant seats and the one button adjustment on the handle is much easier to use than the typical two buttons on other seats. My son spit up in the seat and it easily wiped off the head rest and padding. In the end this is a good infant seat, but since it doesn't fit well when extended I would most likely purchase the infant seat I've used with my older children and then a seat that faces rear and front when they outgrow that instead of this seat. Easy Install for Easy Rides

I was given this car seat to try as part of the weeSpring Parent Panel. After a few trips in the car with this car seat, I have to say that I found it to be a great car seat. It fit my baby very well, albeit a little snug, and the installation of the car seat was quick and easy even I could do it, which impressed my husband. It is also great for those quick trips when your baby falls asleep as the quick click in and out allows for easy removal from the base without waking the baby. Regarding placing your baby into the car seat, the snug fit of the car seat can make it a bit difficult to get your baby in and out, though that snug fit does provide the added safety, which makes the extra work worth it. In addition, the 4-position extension panel was also great in providing that extra leg room for longer babies. My baby is 30 inches long and still had some room to stretch his legs. However, it is worth noting that I felt that this car seat would be better suited for smaller babies as the added security does equal a tighter space for any baby when riding. Overall, I would recommend this car seat, though caution parents with larger babies such as my own that you may find yourself growing out of this car seat sooner than expected.

I love this car seat! I bought it a few weeks ago and I absolutely glad I got it. My 3 month old loves the new seat, it provides him with a lot more protection, no re-threading the straps, and it’s extendable, allowing him to use it longer. My husband appreciates that the base is much easier to detach from the van seat anchors when we switch vehicles. I love the one hand button to adjust the car seat handle. There’s so much I love about this seat! It’s so much better than the snugfit 35 infant seats. Worth every penny.

Best infant car seat!

I had a different brand car seat with my first son but wanted a better one for my second and I am beyond pleased with the one we chose. The fabric is very soft and the head support is great! I love that you don’t have to rethread it to move the harness! The Extend2Fit feature with the base will definitely help extend the length of time my little one can stay in this seat comfortably and with the snug lock it made it a breeze to install tightly! The sun shade is also very large and goes down farther and works better than our previous seat as well! The only con is that our button for moving the handle likes to stick at times and makes it difficult to move but doesn’t bother me enough to not give this seat 5 stars!!
