Great Infant Seat

As the mother of three young children (7 mo, 2 yr, 3.5 yr), I think I know a thing or two about what I like in an infant car seat. One thing about infant seats that has always bugged me is that babies outgrow them so quickly. That's what is so great about the Graco SnugRide SnugLock Extend2Fit 35. It allows for an extra 3.5 in of length so it can be used longer, and the extendable panel was super easy to use. My baby is 98% for length and she has plenty of room to grow in this seat, so we will be able to use it longer than our old seat. The LATCH system makes this seat very easy to install; my husband did the installation and said it was similar to other seats he's installed and it took less than 5 minutes. As a mother, safety is my primary concern in an infant seat and I really like the addition of the rebound bar because it made me more confident that my baby would be safe if we were to be in any type of collision. Perhaps my favorite thing about this infant seat is that the harness does not have to be rethreaded as baby grows and needs more room. What used to take 10+ minutes of rearranging and figuring out the straps now only takes seconds! (Just make sure that baby isn't in the seat when you are adjusting it) Although my baby can't tell me if she likes this seat as much as our old seat, she seemed to be happier in it so I am pleased on all fronts. Thanks weeSpring Parent Panel for letting us try out the Graco SnugRide SnugLock Extend2Fit 35. We highly recommend it!

Many helpful and convenient features

Thanks to the weeSpring Parent Panel for providing me with this car seat. I was very pleasantly surprised with the number of convenient features included in this car seat. Overall, there are a lot of small things about this car seat that make life with a baby just a little bit easier.
The adjustable harness and headrest is so easy to use, simply push the button and adjust. This allows me to adjust the car seat with my child already in it to ensure a great fit. There are many different settings for the headrest/harness too which was a plus. The headrest itself is supportive, yet plush. At first I thought my child may not like the headrest because it is on the larger side, but she seems to be quite comfortable in the seat and has taken many car ride snoozes.
The ability to adjust the handle with one hand is more amazing than I was expecting. So often I am carrying something in one hand and go to pick up the car seat. With this seat, I am able to keep whatever I am holding in one hand and adjust the handle for travel with the other hand - it may seem trivial, but it is so convenient!
The canopy on the car seat is quite long providing a lot of shade and protection for the baby. It is also very easy to adjust one-handed. Again, very convenient when carrying baby to/from the car.
The extendable panel for leg room is a great option, especially for larger/longer kiddos. However, with the panel extended, the front seat in my car does need to be adjusted fairly far forward decreasing leg room for the passenger. Overall, my larger child fits very nicely in this car seat and when the time comes, having the ability to use the extendable panel will be nice.
Installing this car seat was a little tricky and the manual needed to be consulted a few times. Clicking the car seat in and out of the base is a little sticky. There have been some instances where I started driving away after thinking the seat was clicked in only to hear it click into place once the car was moving. Sometimes it is a little difficult to click out of the base too.
There are a few parts of the car seat that seem flimsy. The straps themselves are fairly thin and can get twisted easily. The plastic bar that goes across the child's chest is very light and thin - I would like to see something more heavy-duty on a child's car seat.

Spacious, but large for handling

I received the Graco SnugRide SnugLock Extend2Fit 35 to test out from the weeSpring Parent Panel. This car seat is SO MUCH more spacious than other infant carriers we've used. It suits our needs to keep the little one happy during daycare drop-off with his older brother perfectly. Though he doesn't need it quite yet, I tested out the extendable panel for extra leg room; and it still sits nicely and safely on the seat of the car.
By the way, installation was super simple. The base has an easily-adjustable foot that has a large angle range, and is easily able to sit properly in my steeply-angled seats. The LATCH strap has a lock that comes down to make sure the base is securely installed, which may be my favorite safety feature. And you can even flip the strap with the LATCH tethers around so the loop to tighten the base is on whichever side of the car you need- this was the surprising feature I didn't know I needed!
The only shortcoming with the Graco SnugRide SnugLock Extend2Fit 35 is that it takes up a lot more room than other infant carriers. I had a hard time fitting it in the basket of shopping carts and sometimes struggled to pull it out of the base when getting out of the car. However, the safety features and ease of installation make it totally worth using this seat.
Not to mention, the Graco SnugRide SnugLock Extend2Fit 35 has a harness that adjusts without re-threading the straps. As a parent of two littles, who also works in a preschool that takes days trips, it was the easiest readjustment I've ever done on a car seat!

Luxury meets comfort, and safety of course

I love this car seat. From installation to everyday use. It was super easy to install and adjust to fit in my car, in only minutes. The handy level on the side of base with clear instructions, brought reassurance that our little one would be safe and secure. A great feature is the adjustable straps/harness built into the seat. No longer do you have to un-thread and re-thread to get the perfect fit. With a couple clicks, you get it right in seconds! And when dealing with an infant, time is important. My other favorite feature is the head support. I had an older Graco model and this newer version, provides much more support for the head. I wish I had this car seat months ago for the long car trip we took, this new seat would have helped keep his up in a more stable position. I am also excited to use the extendable panel for more legroom when we need it in a few months. The look of the seat is very nice and modern. I also like the updated handle where you only have to press one button to adjust the carrying handle. Thanks to the weeSpring Parent Panel for providing me with this car seat. I cannot tell my husband enough, how much I like this seat.

Great all around car seat!!

I like this car seat a lot because of a few things. It’s fairly easy to install, especially with newer cars and the option to attach it to the seats more than one way. My favorite feature is the side and head protection. My son is 3 weeks old and it fits snuggly around him without looking like it will be too tight. The edges are also generously padded.
The extendable panel is also great! I wish I had this feature for my first child! The harness is foolproof and easy to connect- but can be challenging to tighten unless you’re at the right angle. I have issues with my wrists and it’s a little harder for me to get the correct tension on the harness, but it’s not impossible. I’m also happy with the sunshade because it covers more than other car seats I’ve tried- I just wish it had A removable mesh panel for air flow. I absolutely recommend this car seat. It’s not super heavy and it’s great!

Comfy and Easily Adjustable!

I received this product from the weeSpring Parent Panel. The extendable panel for extra leg room will be wonderful for my tall boy! My first son grew out of his infant car seat before he was a year old, so I'm looking forward to having this car seat for a long period. The adjustable straps by a click of a button make everyday use for growing baby a breeze. The car seat was easy to install and the base stays firmly in place with a pull down lever that traps the belt. This gives me added assurance of safety. These are nice additions to the basic model which we also own. The padded head rest helps baby sleep in the car without his neck bending in pain. One of the best practical features of the car seat is the handle that adjusts up and down with a one handed click. This is surely the best car seat we have ever owned.

Awesome car seat!

Thanks to weeSpring for letting me try The Snugride SnugLock Extend2Fit 35 Infant Car Seat in haven. I love that this car seat has the 3.5” extension of legroom enabling my little to ride rear-facing longer. The advertised SnugLock Technology is awesome! I installed this car seat in no time! I like that it gives me the option of using either the vehicle seat belt or latch. The car seats base has 4 different recline positions. I am big on reclining car seats because it makes it so much easier for my little to snooze without their head jerking everywhere. This specific car seat comes with an Anti-Rebound Bar, which helps reduce the amount of rebound movement in the unfortunate event of a frontal impact crash. I had to buy one of these separately with my old car seat for extra safety. So I live the fact that this car seat came with one already in place! Last but not least, this car seat has Click Connect technology which gives you the option of using the car seat with any Graco Click Connect bass or stroller. This is a well thought out idea since most travel systems come with one specific car seat, base and stroller. With this technology you can use any Graco base or stroller that has Click Connect. This allows different travel system options. This is a car seat I have definitely enjoyed using!!!

Great car seat

The Graco SnugRide SnugLock Extend2Fit 35 was my first experience with a Graco and I was not disappointed. I loved the neutral color (tan/black) and the very generous (and sturdy) canopy. Installation with a seat belt was not difficult and the SnugLock over the strap provided me with extra comfort regarding safety. The handle bar was easy to adjust to place baby in and out of the car seat and carry around. The straps are adjustable, however, I found the chest strap a little hard to open. I guess its a good thing for safety in that a child cannot unlock it. I will likely get used to it after repeated use. Additionally, unlike other car seats I have seen, it extends to give a growing baby/toddler more leg room while continuing to rear face. The mechanism to extend is very easy to use. It'll be a while before I can use the option, but I look forward to it as I plan to rear face as long as possible. Many thanks to the weeSpring Parent Panel for allowing me to use and review the Graco SnugRide SnugLock Extend2Fit 35!
