Good car seat until 4-5 months old

beware that at 5 months old, the headrest gets very claustrophobic, and frankly too tight for the baby's head. It is NOT removable, thereby rendering it a very expensive 5 month car seat. wouldn't purchase again.

Great features

We used this for our second child when we received it from the weeSpeing Parent Panel. It was easy to install. And we hope to get longer use out of it than we did with our precious infant seat since it has more room for the baby to grow lengthwise. My only complaint is that it doesn’t connect to our stroller without a separate attachment. But the car seat itself is great!!

Lightweight and high quality

This carseat is lovely! It's lighter than the other infant carseats I've used, the fabrics feel high quality and are easy to clean, and the seat has several extra features that make it special. I love being able to raise the shoulder straps with a button instead of having to re-thread them. I also like the thick head cushion and the anti-rebound bar that keeps the carseat from tipping in case of an accident. The belt lock-off on the base also makes it more secure and easier to install correctly. The lightweight fabric on the sun shade is a great feature that blocks sun but not air from flowing through. My 8-month-old daughter is comfortable in this cozy seat. So relaxed and cozy, in fact, that I had to wash the fabric after our first trip home in it! Luckily, the bottom cushion that sits under baby's bum is very easy to remove and wash.
I have only two minor gripes about this carseat: I won't get to use the extender because my daughter's head is too close to the top of the seat to be able to continue using it for much longer. I need an extender on the opposite end, I guess! Another is that the buttons and buckles are a bit stiff for my achy hands and wrists (this is a problem I have with almost all carseats). It is nice to have only one button to push to lower and raise the handle, though!
All in all, a solid choice of carseat with some really nice innovations. I'd definitely recommend. Many thanks to weeSpring Parent Panel for sending me this product to review!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Everything about this carseat is awesome. Everything is easy to adjust from the shoulder straps (there is a sliding adjust in the back) to the one handed adjustable handle. Installing the base was quick and easy to the anchor points in the car, and the level indicator is easy to understand.
The anti-rebound bar was an important feature for us, and the extend to fit will be a great option to give more space.

Great features and easy to install!

We love this car seat! It is very durable and lightweight. The strap adjustment on the back is so easy to use and much easier than having to feed the straps back through once the baby gets taller. The extendable base will be great once our child gets a little taller so there will be more leg room. It was very easy to install in our vehicle! I love how snug and safe the baby looks once she is in the seat! The one button handle adjustment makes it very easy to lower the handle compared to other styles where you need both hands to move it. My only complaint is the canopy can be a bit hard to adjust with the handlebar being so close.

Love Graco!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this car seat for our baby due in a few weeks. He is our 5th child and we have only purchased Graco brand car seats for our last 4 kids. The quality and value far surpasses any others we have had in the past. The fabrics, assembly, weight limits, added features, ease of use, and overall quality is excellent with each seat we have purchased. We purchased this particular seat because I really wanted the extra head support for our baby. He likely has Down syndrome and will likely have lower muscle tone, so I wanted something that really helped to support him. Also, I love the quiet canopy.. it seems insignificant until you have a sleeping baby that you desperately don’t want to wake lol. I appreciated that feature with my last baby and it was a selling point for me this time as well. We can’t wait to use this seat once he is here, but based on the other Graco SnugRide 35 seats we have had, I know this will be just as good with the bonus if added features we haven’t had in an infant seat.
Highly recommend to anyone looking for a safe, quality infant car seat!
