An Amazing Car Seat and Booster Seat Combo!

As my toddler gets older and bigger, picking out the safest, yet most age appropriate car seat/booster seat has become very daunting. My three year old son currently needs a 3 point harness system but it won’t be long until he will be able to use a booster seat. There are not many options on the market but the best one by far is the Graco Nautilus SnugLock LX 3-in-1 Harness Booster. Moms, this car seat is the answer! The Graco Nautilus is a three point harness car seat that can transform into a seat belt accessible booster seat and finally converts into a simple base booster seat! Thats THREE different car seats in one! Another amazing feature of this car seat is the fact that the cover can easily be detached by unsnapping separate parts of this seat. The days of having to take apart the entire car seat cover to wash it and fight with it for an hour to figure out how to put it all back on, are over! If your child is potty training and has an accident in his seat, its as simple as disconnecting four easy snaps and the seat portion of the car seat detaches and can easily be tossed into the washing machine! The Graco Nautilus SnugLock LX 3-in-1 Harness Booster truly is evolutionary in the car seat world. As a mom of 4 boys that has been dealing with car seats for the last 6 years, I can tell you, there is nothing else like this on the market and I highly recommend it. Love this Seat- Versatile and Easy Install!

I was given this harness booster car seat to try as part of the weeSpring Parent Panel. I really LOVE this carseat (more to come on that). It's extremely versatile in that it will grow with your child over the years.
I've also learned from experience with my 3.5 year old that having two cup holders is essential (one for snacks, one for drink, or rocks, or other random objects collected from outdoors...).
My favorite feature is by far the ease of installation. I insist on doing all of the car seat installs for my kids because I'm more likely to follow the instructions word for word than my husband is, and I feel like being a stickler for instructions is very important when it comes to car seat safety. The instructions were very straight forward and easy to follow. We use the latch technology, so my review of the installation is limited to use of the latch. This car seat has a "SnugLock" feature which essentially ensures that your car seat will be practically molded to your car seat, it's so tight. I always struggle to get my full body weight on the car seat while pulling the latch tether and with the SnugLock, it is much less of a concern because this extra step ensures that the fit will me THAT much tighter. I am obsessed with getting the seat in as snugly as possible, and with this seat, it was super easy to do.
After going through a few different style car seats over the years, I can now appreciate the versatility of having one that will transform into a booster, and a compact (yet safe) one. I am looking forward ot exploring the other features of the seat as my child grows.
The harness and headrest are very easy to adjust, and I adjusted the recline a little so that it would be reclined every so slightly - enough for my 3.5 year old to comfortably fall asleep in the seat.
The seat is good looking, sleek, and the fabric feels pretty breathable. Based on my experience thus far, I would highly recommend this seat to other parents. I've had great experiences with other Graco seats but this one is my favorite to-date.

Easy to install, good fit

This is a great car seat for my tall children! The seat was super easy to install, and adjust for height & comfort. My toddler loves the dual cup holders and I love that the seat is narrower than the one we previously used. I also like that the cover is easily removable for cleaning, my previous car seat you had to basically take the whole seat apart to get the cover off. Thank you to weeSpring Parent Panel for sending me the Nautilus!

My husband and I had been on the market for a new carseat for my daughter who just turned 4 when thankfully we received this harness booster carseat from the weeSpring Parent Panel. I love that this car seat is made to last and the ease in which I can clean it ensures it will stay looking good throughout its lifetime. We have a smaller four door sedan and two children so the back seat is a tight fit, having a slimmer profile that we can make even slimmer. My husband is big on car seat safety and has installed many carseats, he was very sceptical of the snuglock belt but became a believer. It was easy to install and he felt the seat was very secure. It was nice to be able to adjust where the headrest sits, out daughter is tall but it's all in her legs so she sits a lot shorter so we were able to bring the headrest down comfortably. The only thing we couldn't adjust easily was the recline feature but my husband said it was because of how our backseat sits that limits it.
My daughter, who in typical toddler fashion is hesitant to change was unsure about getting a new carseat, but was quickly won over by the double cup holder! She uses them for drinks and snacks, marker holders and carseats for her toys. She says the seat is so fancy (her words) and finds it very comfortable.
I love the ease of getting her latched in and out. It is so easy to tighten and loosen. The button to loosen the latch is quick and easy to press. The harness is tight and the rope to pull it tight is easy to adjust. When putting the harness on, my daughter can even put herself in. I just have to come by and do the final tightening of it. Our old carseat was so difficult in comparison and it added so much time to just getting in the car which is already a challenge with a toddler and an infant. I would struggle trying to make sure the harness was secure each time. But not anymore!
Overall when it's time to get my infant a forward facing carseat we will definitely be getting this one for her too.

Super comfy car seat with arm-rest storage

Thanks to the weeSpring Parent Panel, we were able to try out the new Graco Nautilus SnugLock LX 3-in-1 Harness Booster car seat for our 4-year old son. Since this is a forward-facing car seat only, he gave up his other-brand convertible 4-in-1 (rear-facing infant through big-kid booster seat) to his younger 2-year-old brother who has graduated from his infant seat but still needs to remain rear-facing. Our 4-year-old was excited to have a new seat!
Favorite features of this car seat are the easy-to-adjust harness-level/head rest (super smooth!)--which we had to raise up a bit for our tall son--and the storage in the armrests(!). I also love that the arm-rest tops are removable, which essentially lowers them for use by the youngest kiddo. Finally, the buckle strap has well-cushioned padding around it, which I appreciate. My son's other-brand car seat was super uncomfortable there.
I also liked the fabric on this car seat--it's nicely padded, seems breathable (though we have to wait for the hot summer months to determine that), and comes off easily for cleaning (machine-washable!).
Installation was easy enough--notwithstanding the unwieldy instruction manual. 115 pages (just the English one)! It's not impossible to find the section you need, but neither is it easy. I assume this is because there are different instructions for each of the 3 functions of this car seat. The optional SnugLock feature (essentially a lock on the belt path behind the backrest cushion of the car seat) is simple to use (once you figure out the instructions!) and adds a sense of confidence that the car seat is locked in as snugly to the backseat as possible (thus the name SnugLock).
A couple weeks in, this car seat seems like a keeper for us. It's a bit wider (at its widest point, about 21" by my measurements--the manufacturer claims 20") than our other-brand seat, so can't fit another car seat right next to it. We only need two car seats in the back, but if you need to get three car seats in your backseat and you have a space similar to our vehicle make/model [2015 Subaru Forester], than this seat may not work for you. Otherwise, I would recommend this seat for your forward-facing child!

Car Seat Happiness!

I planned on keeping my boys in 5 point harness car seats as long as possible. My middle son is now 7 1/2 yrs old, 48 inches tall and 54 lbs. He’s been asking for about a year for a high back booster using just the regular shoulder belt so he can be more like a ‘big boy’ like his 8 1/2 yr old brother. Of course he is well within the height and weight limits so I finally agreed. This Graco Nautilus SnugLock LX 3-in-1 Harness Booster made the decision a whole lot easier! I feel better knowing he is safe, secure and comfortable and I love that in a couple of years I can convert the seat to a backless booster for him (also the armrests are REMOVABLE in the backless booster mode which is so awesome to give your growing child more room in their seat) OR if I need to use it for my toddler that I can easily convert it back to a 5 point harness seat. I didn’t use the SnugLock feature (for harness only) but it was really easy to remove and store the harness belts behind the padded seat covers to convert to shoulder belt backed booster use. My favorite features would be the InRight LATCH system to easily and quickly secure the seat in the car and the thick comfy fabric and the stylish and solid construction of the seat itself. The headrest and recline are super easy to adjust to fit my ‘big boy’! He is very happy with his new seat and so am I! I was given this harness booster car seat to try as part of the weeSpring Parent Panel.

The Seat That Meets All Their Needs

hanks to the weeSpring Parent Panel for providing us with this Graco Nautilus SnugLock LX 3-in-1 Harness Booster. Now that our son is forward-facing, this will be the last seat our son will need! Starting as a 5-point harness booster, then converting into a high-back booster, and lastly a backless booster seat. It grows and meets the needs of our son as he grows.
Upon opening, we knew we were going to love the Graco Nautilus SnugLock LX 3-in-1 Harness Booster. It’s slim profile and neutral colors (black/grey) gives the seat a clean, classic look. Easily blending in with our car’s interior.
We installed the seat as a 5-point harness booster, as our son is only a toddler. The LATCH system made installation easy and assured us the seat was installed properly. The seat was easy to adjust to our son’s preference with the recline feature and adjustable harness and headrest. Playing with a few combinations of the two features, we found exactly what he was looking for.
The seats smooth, soft fabric and padding makes the seat comfortable for long rides. Our son loved the the dual cup holders and storage compartment which were big enough to hold his sippy cup, snacks and small treasures...keeping him occupied for hours.
Overall, I would recommend the Graco Nautilus SnugLock LX 3-in-1 Harness Booster to parents!

Great Car Seat- You won't be disappointed!

I have been really happy with this car seat. The narrow, slim design means that our back seat (which has to accommodate two car seats for our two children) is much more roomy for an additional passenger. The buckle is very easy for my 4 year old to buckle herself (which she insists on doing!), but sturdy enough to where she cannot unbuckle it on her own. I found this car seat much easier to install than other car seats, and there are numerous adjustments so that I can achieve the perfect, comfortable sitting position for my child. This comes in handy on very long drives! The cup holders are a necessary feature in my book, so I was happy that they included this feature in this design. I would absolutely recommend this car seat!
