Excellent, Compact, and Comfortable Car Seat
on May 22, 2018
Posted by: Becky87
Excellent Car Seat with a surprisingly slim profile. I like the easily adjustable height of the back of the seat and the sleek design. The attached cupholders are excellent and fit my daughter's water bottle really well. While the entire unit is a bit on the heavy side, that's pretty normal for car seats and I love the fact that as my daughter grows we can slim it down to a booster and not have to buy a separate car seat. The buckle was stiff to begin with but is loosening up as we use it more. As far as downsides, the adjustment of the belt is a bit disappointing but only when compared with a previous car seat we owned. The previous car seat had a very cool mechanism to release and tighten the belt which worked so well every time. This Graco seat is easily adjustable but I do miss the ease of adjustment with the previous car seat.
All in all, it's an excellent car seat out of which we will get many years of use.
Thanks to the weeSpring Parent Panel for providing me with this product.

About as Perfect as a Booster Can Get
on May 18, 2018

I already own an older model of the Graco Nautilus, and I have been very happy with it. So when I was given the Nautilus Snuglock LX 3-in-1 to try as part of the weeSpring Parent Panel, I was pretty stoked. There are a lot great new features on this one.
Once you are ready to turn your child forward-facing, this is the last seat you will need to buy. It starts as a 5-point harness booster, adjusts to a high-back booster, and finally converts to your traditional booster seat (without a back). I installed the Nautilus as a 5-point harness using my vehicle’s seatbelts. It does come with LATCH straps if that is what you prefer, and there is a handy built-in compartment for the LATCH straps if you are not using them.
So what is this Snuglock? I’ll admit I was little skeptical of how much easier it would make the installation process, but I was wrong. It made it so much easier to get a secure installation. The Snuglock basically “locks”/attaches the booster to your seatbelt. You still need to tighten your seatbelt/Latch stras, but you don’t have to get them as ridiculously tight. I’m on the tinier side and my husband has had to install our carseats because I couldn’t get them secure enough. I easily installed this on my own.
You can easily adjust the headrest and harness with the touch a button. You don’t have to remove the seat or rethread the straps. The most difficult part was adjusting the crouch buckle. It was actually a two-person job, but I wouldn’t remove a star over this.
Some of my favorite features: 1. You need to push a button to loosen the straps. On my older model, you needed to lift a small lever. My son figured out how to do it and would loosen the straps while I was driving. He can’t do that on this one. 2. There are two cup holders, and the entire arm rest can be removed with the cup holders. AND they are DISHWASHER SAFE! If you let your kids have snacks in the car, you’ll love this. It’s so easy clean. On that note, the arm rests can be removed permanently if you want to make it narrower. I haven’t personally used this feature, but it could be helpful if you were trying to fit 3 carseats across the backseat.

Easy Peasy Installation
on May 20, 2018
Posted by: Mama Cass
Graco has finally changed the latches for easy installation and it’s dreamy! All of the other Graco seats we own have the metal clip to hook into the car and this seat has the easy peasy SnugLock belt installation. The Graco Nautilus SnugLock LX 3-in-1 Harness Booster is great looking for starters, has two cup holders, transitions nicely and installation was a breeze. Another feature I love is that the button to loosen up the belt is visible! I don’t have to blindly guess where the button is and neither do grandparents who have no idea what these fancy car seats do. The only downside is the heavy-ish weight which isn’t even that bad considering everything you can do with this seat. My four and a half year old isn’t quite ready for the booster, but before we put the seat in the car we were playing around with all of the options and it was so easy to switch back and forth between the high back and the booster seat. She loves her new seat. My husband is the official car seat installer of the house and he said installation was super easy as was adjusting the headrest and harness for our big little girl. Thanks to the weeSpring Parent Panel for providing me with this harness booster car seat, we love it!

I love how convenient this car seat is!

I love the new features on this car seat. We own an older model of the Graco Nautilus and the updates they have made with the Graco Nautilus SnugLock LX 3-in-1 Harness Booster are amazing. It's so easy to adjust the strap height, you don't even have to take your child out of the seat. Also the latch system is so easy to connect, its no longer a hassle to move the car seat to another car. My child loves the double cup holders for her drinks and toys and the extra padding to protect her legs from the clips. This car seat will definitely keep my child happy and safe through all the stages. Thanks to the weeSpring Parent Panel for providing me with this harness booster car seat.

Impressive car seat with nice features
on May 18, 2018

I have to admit that when I received this product from the weeSpring Parent Panel, I was a bit skeptical because we are quite loyal to a different brand of car seat. Right out of the box, however, I was impressed. The car seat has a nice, slim profile with neutral black and gray colors and an overall clean look. There is some removable padding in the lower seat area to make the seat more comfortable. The seat also has an easy-to-use recline feature so that the child does not have to sit rigidly upright. The amount of recline is quite subtle though. I would compare it to an airplane seat, though the car seat probably reclines even less than that. I am guessing that is for safety reasons. One other sign that this car seat would be a hit--my 2 1/2 year-old immediately wanted to sit in it. Our toddler also loved the two cup-holders, and we were happy to discover that they fit even her larger or wider cups. Her snack cups did not fit, but that was not surprising.
One of my favorite features about this car seat is the ease of cleaning it. The manual provides good instructions on how to spot clean the seat cover pads, and the pads are also machine washable. I love that! I also like that this car seat can grow with our children. We have not tried the booster conversion yet because our kids are too young, but we reviewed the instruction manual on how to do it and it seems really easy.
It only took a quick click of the headrest into the top of the car seat and it was ready to install. Reading the instruction manual by itself made the forward-facing installation seem a bit more daunting than it actually was once we tried it. The installation took us less than 10 minutes overall. The car seat has some nice signs on the side that remind you of the key points to remember, including the different weight limits, where the harness should be located on the child's chest, and how high the headrest should be in relation to the child's head. We really liked the storage compartment in the bottom of the car seat for the LATCH system belt. Our other car seat did not offer that, so the straps would dangle when we took the car seat out of the car. The back-seat pad that covers the snug-lock system also has a plastic tab that snaps into the back of the car seat. The snap felt secure, yet still made it easy to remove the seat pad to access the system. We were not initially sure of the purpose of the snug-lock system, but we ultimately liked it once we went through the installation process. The LATCH system belt laces through the snug-lock system and clicks into place, making the whole LATCH system and car seat feel more securely installed.
There were ultimately just a couple of minor issues we noted during the installation process. The first step to install the car seat was to remove the top tether strap, which was clipped into a storage location at the back of the car seat. This was more difficult than it should have been because the angle of the tether strap clip was awkward. We were also initially confused by the instructions on how to thread the LATCH system belt through the forward-facing position hole on the left side of the car seat. The left side is actually determined when you are looking at the car seat, not how you would theoretically sit in it. The picture in the manual that shows the left versus right side of the seat was very helpful, but it still was not all that intuitive. Once we got that part figured out, the next step in the manual was to put the car seat in the back seat of the car. It would have been quite a bit easier to just go ahead and thread the LATCH system belt through the snug-lock system while the car seat was still outside of the car and then put the car seat in and use the LATCH system to anchor the seat. Doing these few steps involving the snug-lock system while the car seat was already inside the car was more challenging, even though we have a fairly roomy, four-door sedan.
Overall, we were very impressed with this car seat and look forward to using it for years to come. The issues we had during installation were truly very minor. Thank you to the weeSpring Parent Panel for allowing us to try out this car seat.

Must Have Car Seat
on May 26, 2018

As a mother to 3 young kids, all in car seats, knowing that their seats are installed correctly and that they are snug and safe is always my number one concern. Thanks to the weeSpring Parent Panel for letting me try the Graco Nautilus SnugLock LX 3-in-1 Booster because I know it is snug and locked every time!! The SnugLock belt installation has to be my favorite feature. I also love the slim base which makes fitting three car seats in the backseat of my car easier. I love the flexibility of this seat. It grows with your child or if you're like me and have multiple young ones then you can easily adjust it to fit another child. The seat looks incredibly comfortable as well. My 5 year old (who is small for her age) can very easily buckle herself up, which can be super helpful to me, but she is not able to unbuckle herself which still gives me piece of mind that when my (soon-to-be) 2 year old uses the seat he can't unbuckle himself. We also love that even with the narrower base there are still double cup holders which is a huge perk when I'm traveling alone with kids. This is seriously the best car seat I've ever used and would 110% recommend it to anyone in the market for a car seat!!

A booster seat that will exceed your expectations!
on May 29, 2018

I had always thought of booster seats as just that, a booster seat. Now that my child is at the age to transition to a forward facing seat, I realized they are perfect. I love that this seat has a 5 point harness and lots of safety features to ensure that my child stays safe. The frame is steel-reinforced to ensure safety. The seat also inclines, which was surprising to me for a booster, my child is currently 29 lbs so I know this feature will be useful as she grows.
The installation was so simple that it took me only about 10 minutes to install. With the SnugLock you are able to Lock-Off the LATCH strap to really ensure it is tight and then the Lock-Off helps to keep it stay tight.
This seat went into a Ford Focus, there is not a lot of room and there is also a convertible car seat in the back seat. This seat fits perfectly behind the driver's seat and ensures plenty of room for my 6'1 husband and even room in the middle for whatever we would need to store there.
Even though this seat is currently for my 3yo, I also tested it out on my 2yo and it was very easy to adjust the harness and headrest quickly and efficiently.
I'm very fortunate and excited to have received this harness booster car seat as part of the weeSpring Parent Panel.

great booster with 5-point harness!
on June 4, 2018

I received the product from the weeSpring Parent Panel. My daughter is 5 and ready for a booster seat. But I'd like to keep her in a 5-point harness for as long as possible. This is a great booster seat that provides excellent all-around support with a 5-point harness. And as she grows, we can change the configuration of the seat to just use the seat belt buckle rather than the harness, and even remove the back of the booster seat. It's a great, sturdy seat with lots of room and two large cupholders. One thing to note, the harness buckle feels low (where it comes up from the bottom of the seat) - I wish the placement came up a bit higher. I have to be careful about not pinching her legs when buckling. Overall, very happy with this seat and glad to have something that will last for a long time!
