Good seat at a great price point

This seat is really nice. We have been through several car seats since we have three kids. Each kid has had their own infant seat and convertible seat since they eventually expire. I am usually a middle of the road kind of purchaser, but I am willing to spend a lot of money on car seats since they get used frequently and are also a safety item. My kids are tall for their ages so we have had trouble finding seats that they aren't too tall for in the regular convertible seat once they hit three or so. I really like this Graco seat. I usually have trouble getting the seats connected in my van, but this seat is really easy to install. I was able to basically take out of the box and install it by myself in the back of van. It is also not as heavy as some of the other seats we have had previously. I love how easy it is to adjust the straps. My kid likes the seat, and especially the cup holders to hide her treasures. The tall back is nice since she was outgrowing the convertible seat we had. I like that this will eventually become a booster and saves some money along the way. One thing that I am not as crazy about is the white inset on the fabric which I think will become dirty looking very quickly, but that is true of any car seat, no matter the color. Easy Install and Comfortable Seat

The Nautilus SnugLock LX 3-in-1 Harness Booster is a great transition seat from a convertible carseat. It will be awhile until my 5yo reaches the weight and height limit for the 5-point harness, which is a huge plus. He enjoys having storage dual cup holders (it's also great that they are removable and dishwasher safe) and says that the seat is very comfortable. It's like he has his own little armchair in the backseat of our compact car.
The instructions can be a bit overwhelming at first glance, but it was very easy for us to install. We ended up not using the SnugLock, which seems like a great feature; unfortunately, we couldn't get it to work in our case—maybe it was the curve of our backseat? Even without it, installation was smooth.
We didn't find the slots to hold the straps out of the way as useful as I initially thought they would be, probably because my child now puts the straps on himself. The strap adjustment is really smooth, and I also really like the chest clip. The strap pads are a tad bulky without much cushioning, but I love that they are washable. My biggest issue is the seat cushion doesn't stay put, so we end up having to make sure the strap isn't caught up in the flaps instead of being in the slit.
All in all, this is a great seat that will last my child until he's ready and able to sit on his own. I wish it was just a tad narrower so I could have one of my kids in the center of our backseat (instead of both of them being outboard). The construction of this seat gives me confidence that my child will be safe.
I'm so glad the weeSpring Parent Panel gave me the opportunity to try the Graco Nautilus SnugLock LX 3-in-1 Harness Booster.

I was doubtful, but ended up liking it!

We were lucky enough to receive this booster at no cost thanks to the Weespring Parent Panel to review and it's the first carseat like this we have had, so there was definitely a learning curve! I loved how easy it was to change between modes and strap settings to be used for different littles (used with our 4 and 6 yr Olds and a friends smaller almost 4yr old) with no real fuss! Just squeeze, move position, and go! We initially had issues with the Snuglock, but got it figured out (put it through BEFORE trying to get it in the car AT ALL!) and with the different modes (move away the fabric COMPLETELY, almost taking it off, to get the booster back on correctly, just moving the little flaps won't work), but besides that it was rather simple. Still don't know what the recline is for, though, seeing as it's a forward facing seat. Overall we really like the seat, and are thinking of getting another. Thank you, Weespring!

New favorite carseat!

My daughter is 4-1/2 and can sit very well on a regular booster seat. However, she is quite slim and I would prefer to keep her in a harness for as long as possible as this will keep her safer than just a regular seatbelt. This 3-in-1 carseat is perfect. It is front-facing-only for toddlers 22lbs and up. What I love is that this goes up to 120lbs! Which means my daughter will be in this carseat until she is ready to sit on her own with a seatbelt. The harness is up to 65lbs, which will probably last her until she reaches the maximum height requirement. At which point this converts into a highback seatbelt-positioning booster. Then once she's ready, the highback can be removed and become 2 types of backless booster seat. In booster mode, the armrests can be removed to make it narrower and lighter so I can fit 3 across the car or take it travelling. The 2 cupholders stay as well!
Though I don't plan to move the carseat from car to car or even move it at all from the car, the weight is substantial enough to have this carseat solid and stable but not too heavy that I can't move it often if needed. The SnugLock feature makes getting a secure installation easy and simple! The back cushion opens to reveal the belt path, it clicks to let me know it's locked, and the back cushion has these great buttons to keep the cushion in place over the plastic SnugLock cover. Moving the crotch strap position did give me some trouble but I was able to move it successfully and securely. The no-rethread harness and 6-position adjustable headrest is time-saving and easy for height adjustment. Just press and pull on the lever up top and release to lock when you reach the proper height. The recline is also handy for long car rides so my daughter's head doesn't droop when she falls asleep--it can recline along with the back of the captain chair it's on.
With everything in place, this carseat is very well-cushioned. At first my daughter mentioned that it's a little snug with the gray seat pad on, but after the second car ride, she said it was comfortable. Perhaps it's only up to a certain weight. But even without the extra cushion, the seat on its own is quite comfortable and has plenty of padding, which is a plus as not all booster seats are well-padded. I have another harness-to-booster carseat from the same brand which I also love, but that particular one does not surround my daughter's body as much as this one does--I love the extra protection on this one. Because this is such a high-quality product, it will most likely last through my son as well, once my daughter outgrows this or until the seat expires.
This is now my daughter's favorite (and main) car seat because it's so comfortable, and mine because I have total peace of mind that it will keep her safe. Thanks to the weeSpring Parent Panel for sending me this harness booster car seat!

Great Harness Booster

This is the last car seat my 3 year old will need and we love it. The installation was easy with the Snuglock belt and it was easy to adjust the head rest and harness to fit my child. The harness strap covers were too wide on our child so we removed them easily. The seat was also comfortable for him on a 3+ hour drive. I love that this will be the last car seat he will need as it easily converts to a booster as he grows. Having the flexibility to create a more narrow booster as well, when we need to have three car seats across in the future is a great feature. I will be buying another for my second child soon. Thanks weeSpring parent panel for providing me with this harness booster seat to try.

A great option for the long run | Safe & Comfy

I have been very happy with this seat so far! I have a 5 year old who uses the Graco 2 in 1 harness booster seat...so I was familiar with some of the features, but wasn't in the know about the Graco 3-in-1 seat! I received this product as a part of the Wee Springs Parent Panel - and it was excellent timing because my two year old had become completely unmanageable in the rear facing mode. You know - the stiff cardboard baby mode where you are stranded in a parking lot with a screaming child who won't bend in any way to fit into the car seat and you just wave and laugh like it's not a big deal but are secretly dying a little each minute that passes? That was my life.
It was like a breath of fresh air when we received the Graco 3-in-1 seat. My little one loves facing forward and interacting with us and her brother. One of my favorite features is how easy it is to adjust the head rest/shoulder strap without rethreading. It was easy to sit my little one in it and figure out where the best fit was and with a click of a button, we were ready!
I didn't know much about the SnugLock belt installation and I'll be honest that it took 2 human beings with 2 master's degrees about 20 minutes to read and inspect the seat to figure out exactly what we were dealing with. But once I put the seat in the car and followed the instructions in the manual - I realized how much tighter I could get the seat to fit and it makes me way more confident about the installation!
I am a fan of the Graco seats - they take up less room in my van, and give space for a passenger to sit inbetween my 2 kiddos which is sometimes necessary. And I'm really happy to know that this is is ONE seat that will last my daughter until she is ready to transition out of a booster completely and that is a major win for us. I love the versatility of the seat and how we can grow the seat as she grows!
I'll say that adjusting the harness, headrest and recline was pretty simple. I did have my daughter sit in the seat before I installed it so I could see what worked best. I was glad that I reclined the seat prior to installing - I think it would have been difficult to do once we used the snuglock feature! The only other challenge I had was rethreading the crotch buckle to give more space. It took a lot of muscle and patience to move it - I am glad I don't have to do that again!

Great car seat!

I was privileged to receive this product as a member of the WeeSpring Parent Panel and was really happy with the product. It has a narrower base which I love because I have two little ones and a fairly small back seat. The buckle is smooth and easy enough for my toddler to buckle (but not unbuckle) in her own. It is easy to clean and quick and easy to install. There are multiple adjustments so you can make it comfortable and safe for your little one at each stage and height. The cup holders are also an awesoeme feature that saves me from reaching back and forth into the back seat handing my daughter her water! I would recommend this product for sure!

Love this seat!

I needed to be able to fit 3 car seats across in my vehicle. I had previously found that options were limited for 3 across. At 20” wide, it fit well in the middle row of my SUV, along with 2 other car seats. I love the recline features in the forward position. I can recline it so that my son sleeps comfortably. The large headrest seems to keep his little head in a comfortable position while he sleeps. Since we switched car seats, I have found that he falls asleep easily in the car and stays asleep for longer periods. Another plus is the double cup holders and snack spots. WIth 3 seats across, it is hard to find space for one cupholder, let alone two cupholders! My daughter often uses one of them since she sits right next to him and hers does not allow for one. Another one of my favorite features is the lower profile of the seat, making it easier for my 2 year old to climb into it by himself.
Installation was smooth thanks to Snuglock. The straps are easy to adjust. The headrest moves up and down the the press of a button. The fabric is soft and comfortable to the touch. This car seat transitions easily from harness booster to highback and then backless booster. This makes is easy for all three of my children (ages 6, 4, and 2) to use if needed, which is a huge plus. My 2 and 4 year old often fight over this carseat because they love it so much.
