Worst Graco product I've ever used

I am a huge fan of Graco, but I have Nothing good to say about this car seat other than it is lighter than the Graco one I used with my first child....As I'm sure others have stated, Adjusting and tightening the straps on this car seat is ridiculously hard and the strap design is uncalled for. Why on earth would Graco mess up a good thing (the way you adjust the straps on all their other car seats) and create a car seat that has straps like this one??? The straps loosen up easily and I don't mean this in a good way. The straps loosen up easily when you don't want them to. We've also experienced one strap getting really tight on the baby as well. I have always felt weary as to whether this car seat would really protect my son in a crash or not. I DO NOT recommend this model car seat.

Unsafe harness tightening system

We are going to replace this seat. It does not have the easy one strap system to tighten and loosen the harness. Instead, you have to turn the seat around and manually fiddle with metal clips on the back of each strap. I do not feel confident that this seat is safe for my daughter because a proper adjusted harness is essential. Even if we as the parents get in the habit of adjusting it safely, the minute we hand it off to a babysitter we are putting her in jeopardy - they could easily think it's tight when it isn't. That's not even considering the obvious frustration of having to fiddle with the straps when literally every other model has an easy, one strap system. Do not buy this model - every other choice would be more safe and easier to use.
(For the record, we use other Graco seats for our son. Great company, just this product is substandard.)

Loosening and tightening straps

We got our car seat as a gift a few months ago for our new baby. It is a snug ride click connect 30. The straps are on the back to tighten and loosen and it is super inconvenient. One strap always seems to be tighter than the other and they are somewhat difficult to do once you have the baby strapped in. My niece has the same exact car seat but their strap is on the front like normal. I do not get why the straps are different

Impossible to remove the base

This seat is great and works fine. It also conveniently works with the stroller we have. The problem is removing the base. You have to leave this connected in your car 24/7 365 because it is so difficult to remove that you will not be able to have full use of your back seat. I am literally going to have to cut the straps off this when my daughter outgrows it because I cannot get it off. I am a grown man and the amount of strength needed to push the button and pull the strap at the same time might be a challenge for Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson or Arnold Schwarzenegger in his heyday. Fortunately they do make replacement based that have a much better attachment system that is much easier to use.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very comfy car seat!

While I received this product for free, the opinions and thoughts included in this review are my own. I Love this car seat. I added an insert that seems to work fine in the infant stage. Again, I like that I can remove the extra padding to wash and not have to take apart the car seat. It had easy to adjust straps and is easy to get in and out of base.
This car seat is perfect for my daughter! She is very comfortable, her head is protected, a rear facing car seat. Safe to use creates more spacious seat.
Though the care seat is not light weight and not heavy. It's just a regular ones. I was expecting a smaller car seat which would fit in my car. This ones are okay!

Nice car seat, design flaw with canopy

Got this car seat as a gift. The car seat is great for preemie babies. The flaw we found is that the canopy touches the handle of the car seat leaving no room for you to hold. So you can not have canopy fully extended when handle is up (when you carry it). The canopy also gets stuck a lot when you try to move the handle. I see this as a design flaw, they should make the handle an inch taller so that there is fluid movement. Besides that it is a good car seat!

I recently purchased a click connect 30 for my newborn. I previously had a snugride 30 that expired. I am overall happy with the seat. I have two complaints though. Firstly, when buckling in the seat without the base, there is no indication as to whether it's installed at the proper angle. Only the base has that. Secondly, the shade/canopy is significantly worse than the classic connect's that I used to own. It's harder to move back and forth, and it seems to have less coverage. Overall, it's a decent seat.
