Great Product!

I was in a bad car accident back in 2009. My daughter was in the vehicle with me and sitting in this seat. My daughter sustained no injuries and the car seat itself had no damage. The product held up and did exactly what it was supposed to do, which is protect my child.

Loose straps!

I bought this car seat new for my first child. She is now five months old and we used this car seat for roughly 4 months. The shoulder straps are forever coming loose. Initially I thought my husband was loosening the straps so he could get her in but after being the only person to put her in the car seat for three days I know now that it is the car seat. I am very worried about this and plan to pursue this further. If I still had my receipt I would return this car seat right away. I have many Graco products and love them all so I wasn't worried about the functionality of this car seat. The loosening of the shoulder straps is significant, 2-3 inches. I have to tighten the straps every single time I put my infant daughter in this car seat. Thankfully we have never been in an accident and I pray that we never are while she is in this seat.

Good seat at fair price

We bought one of these as part of a travel system for our first child -- who outgrew it heighth-wise before ever reaching the weight limit. It fit fine in the back of our small Saturn SL1 and Chevy Malibu and traveled well on several airplane flights. The seat alone is fairly lightweight. Base is easy to install and audible "click" when seat is installed is great. It can be tricky to loosen the straps when your child is in the seat -- the clip is in between his/her legs. Decided to get another Click Connect 30 seat for convenience for our new twins since the bases are interchangeable. It's a good value for the money and will last until you need to upgrade to a larger seat.

Terribly Inefficient

The seat is comfortable and I'm sure it's very safe. However, adjusting the straps is a complete joke. It's almost as if it was designed to be a pain. You have to do everything from the back of the seat to get the straps tight enough to secure the child properly. I've never dealt with a carseat like this, but it's really annoying and not user friendly at all. We plan to return it after a couple weeks of trying to get used to it.

loose straps

I bought this car seat 3 months ago and I like it but the straps dont stay tight. Om constantly tightening them. Therefore I wouldn't recommend this to anyone! Graco has always been great products and I loved them untill I purchased this one

Stunned by the design and quality

My baby is 4 months old. We got this stroller and car seat and I didn't notice that there was no way to tighten the straps from the front of the seat. The only way to tighten it is to do so from behind which proves to be very difficult! I cannot believe that this design and quality came from what I always thought to be a reputable company. The product is, to be completely honest, is very poor quality and the design stupefies me. I am just so disappointed in this.

Working good so far.

I have two of these car seats for my twins. I have no prior experience with car seats but I can tell you what I like about these.
They are:
-Lightweight
-Have neat curved bottoms that allow for rocking on hard surfaces.
-I was able to remove all fabric for cleaning in the washer without much hassle
-The buckle system works well, and the babies are easy to extract when the ride is over.
-They fit in the BabyTrend Double Snap-N-Go stroller.
- The babies seem to be comfortable in them.

Things I don't like:
-The latch base is extremely hard to uninstall, the latch buckle is almost impossible to depress to increase belt slack to unattach the latch anchors. So make sure you don't need to move the bases often.
-I wish the sunshade could be extended further.

Straps are TERRIBLE!!!

My child is 7 months and we have had this car seat since we was born. It was wonderful up until about a month ago. The straps are terrible. They become loose on their own while we are riding down the street. If he hit a bump they come loose. My husband sits in the back with our son and says they come loose on their own that it isn't our son pulling them. I have looked on the back and the silver piece has popped off a few times. Faulty restraints. Going to have to just get a different car seat I guess.
