Great for little ones

I received the Graco Duet Sway™ LX Swing with Portable Bouncer from the weeSpring Parent Panel in exchange for an honest review. When we received the product, my first thought was that the materials are obviously built to last. The pieces are made of metal and seem as though they would hold up well for quite awhile. The product was also a lot easier to put together than I would have thought it would be. It only took my husband 20 minutes to assemble it.
Once it was assembled, I wasn't sure how my 5 month old would care for the swing as my first did not like to be in one. I was also worried that the material of the bouncer/swing would not be comfortable for my daughter. To my joy, my daughter took to the swing immediately, and the material is so plush it is like she is snuggled into a little cloud. I love that the toy bar can switch positions so easily as well which allows me to either put it lower to entertain her or have it up high where I can have face to face interaction.
I am also so grateful that the product has a power supply and does not rely on batteries. The swing my first daughter had was battery powered and we spent more in batteries to keep it running than we did on the swing itself.
Switching the from swing mode to bouncer mode is incredibly simple and very easy to do while entertaining two small children. My daughter delights in sitting in the bouncer and being read to by her big sister. She never seems to be in any discomfort and seems to be at such an angle that her neck isn't in any danger of abused.
Overall, I really like the swing and bouncer combo. I think it it s a wonderful idea to save space and is very functional. I wish I would have had this with my 4 year old!

Gotta love a multifunctional product!

We had the opportunity to use the Graco Duet Sway Swing & Portable Rocker as a part of the WeeSpring Parent Panel and I am SO glad we did! Our little girl loves to swing and we have been using a huge hand-me-down swing that took up a quarter of our living room...it was horrible looking but it made her happy (and gave momma the ability to cook dinner and run to the bathroom) so we were good with it. Then we received the Graco Duet Sway Swing & Portable Rocker....move over old, giant, hideous hand-me-down there's a new swing in town!! The Graco Duet Sway was very easy to assemble and is unobtrusive, giving us back some much needed space. We love that it has the option to function as a swing (which takes up a bit more room and requires an electrical outlet to plug in) OR we can use it as a rocker anywhere (this functionality is battery operated and it is very light and easy to move around). All you have to do to switch the rocker into a swing is lift it onto the swing base, and BAM, you have a swing. I will be honest, at first it seemed like the swing was less than stable since you just placed the rocker on the swing mount without screwing it in or anything. However, I have been very pleased that once put in place it's very secure (believe me, as a slightly anxious first time mom, I tested it...A LOT). The seat itself has three different reclining options to grow with the baby. They can fully recline or move up to more seated positions very easily. Another important feature of the seat itself is the safety harness, this is a must use to keep your little one safe and the clip on this model is easier to unlatch than other similar products. The swing is our favorite use, it has worked wonders to soothe a fussy baby. I love that I can make it have a nice easy speed or move it up to something more vigorous depending on the mood of the baby. The only negative thing I can say about the Duet Sway is the mobile piece that arches over the seat is a bit of a throw away. It is pretty flimsy and the stars that are attached are a very light color with little visual interest for the baby. We ended up removing this piece since it was in the way more than anything. We are extremely pleased with the Graco Duet Swing & Portable Rocker and would definitely recommend it to friends.

compact with a big impact!

The Graco Duet Sway is a great registry addition & gift for new moms. It is priced right, superior quality (love Graco swings) and this style is gender neutral! I found it relavtiely easy to put together with all the parts included, and was pleasantly surprised at how quick it was to set up - I am not the most handy or the best at reading directions. The small footprint of this swing is my favorite thing about it, given the myriad of baby items that line the floors of almost every room in my home. The compact, sleek design means it won’t clash with my home style and I won’t stub my toe on it when waking up for 2am feeds in the dark! I really appreciate that the swing plugs in and has the ability to detach the rocker (uses D battery) for portability - we use it while we shower so our LO is close by and content! She is very comfy and is so wiggly that she can rock herself in the seat - which has a head rest adjustment so she can recline or be more upright. The seat vibrates which is a nice feature although not a necessity for my gal. My LO loves that she can swing in 3 directions (depending on how she is facing) but I found that since she is so wiggly, the seat seemed a little unbalanced while she was swinging - she is 5mo and 15lbs for reference. Despite this, the swing stayed steady and moved just fine! I do tend to favor swings that have a musical feature, as I’ve found it keeps my baby engaged and more at ease.. this would be a nice addition to this product. Our experience with the Graco Duet Sway has been a positive one, with both the swing and portable rocker - I am a sucker for products that have more than one purpose or feature, especially when it comes to baby items because you can get inundated with “stuff”. We’re so appreciative of weeSpring Parent Panel for allowing us to try out this swing/rocker!

Definitely recommend

I was given this swing to try asbpart of the weeSpring Parent Panel. My overall review, I would recommend! The material is very soft and the harness does not rub baby’s neck. It was very easy to assemble, and took about 15 min. You are able to choose swing speed and vibration intensity along with music. The overall height makes it easy to get baby in and out. Transitioning from swing to bouncer and back is very easy and simple. I love that it plugs into wall, but keep in mind it does require batteries for vibration and music. The motor is quiet which is always a positive. My one complaint, although it does not keep me from recommending this combo, I wish the sound quality was better. Price point is very reasonable for what you are getting! I don’t hesitate to recommend this Bouncer/swing combo.

Sleek comfortable swing!

We received this swing just in time! My husband just left to go over seas so I no longer have help! I didn't know what I was going to do with my little when I needed to shower and get ready. This swing is perfect! I can easily take the bouncer part into the bathroom and my little one can stay comfortable and entertained while I am busy. I feel like she can be safe and independent while I am still able to keep an eye on her! This product was easy to put together and is very sleek looking! I was nervous at first not knowing if the swing would be stable but after putting it together and testing it out I feel more the safe putting my babe in it! The height of this product is perfect and the motor is so quiet! It's like its not even on! ? Love that we can rotate the swing to give my daughter options of which way she swings! The music quality could be a little better but it is a great, comfortable product at a great price! This is a great quality swing and I can't wait to tell other new parents about it! Thank you weespring Parent Portal for allowing me to test out this product and review it!

Must-have registry item

The Graco Duet Swing & Portable Rocker is amazing! My 5 month old always wants to be held and has had little interest in the rocker we used with our first child. The feature he loves best about this swing/rocker combination is the ability to either swing front to back like a traditional swing or side-to-side. As it turns out, he still has little interest in the traditional swinging motion but he loves to go side-to-side. This makes the product a must-have registry item-- you never know what your baby will like until they are born. He now loves swing time and I get to make dinner! We mainly use this product as a swing but I love the ability to disconnect the seat from the swing base and use it as a rocker. I have found myself rocking him with my foot while washing dishes. If we had gotten this when he was a newborn I think we would have used this feature even more frequently but the fact that the seat can either sit up or be reclined has been very useful at this age. I also love that the entire product feels compact and fits easily and unobtrusively in the corner when not in use. Thanks to the weeSpring Parent Panel for providing me with this swing and rocker!

2in1 Swing + Rocker is a space saving lifesaver!

The Graco Duet Swing and portable rocker is a space saving lifesaver for this mama of four! The swing is very convenient for my baby who fights naps. When he won’t sleep in his crib, I’m able to get him to relax and sometimes snooze in the swing. The size is ideal and doesn’t take up too much space in my living room. The swing has the option of swinging front to back or side to side. I love that the rocker easily detaches from the swing. The rocker material is soft and has vibration to help soothe him. The recline options are great because you can sit baby upright more as they gain more head control.
My favorite feature is the ability to remove the rocker easily from the swing. It allows me move it to another room quickly. This comes in handy when I need to make meals for my family.
This is also great because it takes up less space in my living room. Instead of having a swing and a rocker taking up floor space, the rocker rests on top of the swing. With 4 kids we need all the space we can get!

We will use this swing at home, but will be able to travel easily with the rocker. It’s a great size to take along to our friend’s or grandma’s house when needed.
The only "cons" for this Swing and rocker combo is the toy bar. The plastic clips that attach to the sides of the rocker are not very secure. When my baby reaches for the hanging star toys, he is able to pull the entire toy bar off of the rocker. He was able to do this multiple times.

Small but mighty

Thanks to the always amazing Weespring parent panel for giving me the opportunity to test out this product in return for my honest opinion.
I’ll start out by sharing that, I’m a mom of 7+ as I foster babies, and almost always have a baby visiting our family....therefore I’ve had my fair share of baby swings. I’m picky on my baby gear, as I use them a lot and need them to work well and efficiently.... I sometimes have babies in my care that have been born drug exposed, and they may need to sleep in their swings as they can’t lay flat in their back or tummy, or they have reflux, have had surgery etc.
Pros:
-Surprisingly compact....Almost tiny! Both the swing and the bouncer worked well and the baby seemed to enjoy them.
-neutral colors for a boy or girl.
-you can turn the seat...wow! What a great idea!!
-good for traveling
-baby seemed pretty content in it; we put him in it everyone day for about 15 minutes each time. He did seem to get uncomfortable in the bouncer after 15 minutes. Maybe he was uncomfortable?

-very low to the ground, which makes it a little awkward to our baby in and get baby out of.
-because of how compact it is, I think it would be better suited as a travel item, and keep the large swing for at home.
-personally, I think the color will be hard to keep clean, and when they are little and have blowouts, you will be cursing under your breath as you try and clean the light fabric.

Overall, I’d say this is a great concept, and I think those with small apartments and spaces will like it. Plus. You’re saving money by not having to purchase two separate items.
