Disappointing

Received this at my baby shower. We started using it when my son was 2 months old as we didn’t have room prior to that and got it out when we moved into our home. At first we loved it and it was the only thing he would want to be sat down in. In just 6 weeks of using it has started making a loud ticking noise, stop swinging, and the blue light flashes. It’s a great swing when it works. Since it’s started messing up we’ve got very little use out of it.

Well, where to begin.

I purchased this swing/rocker because I wanted to be able to switch from swinging to rocking, also the detachable functionality. It does provide all of those things for me and efficiently. The seat portion is really comfortable, deep sitting area for my 7 week old. The cons: the safety harness is the cheapest I've ever seen in a baby product. There's no padding whatsoever just cheap nylon straps. The hanging bar that is supposed to provide entertainment does not stay up, it is also extremely high off the product. Awkwardly high. The baby will never reach the objects made to entertain, if they could any bump would knock down the entire arm. The swing itself had a mind of its own. It speeds up and slows down without warning sometimes jolting my little one awake because it starts going so fast. I have noticed that when he slides down on the seat it does slow down tremendously. I don't know if this is a safety mechanism or just a flaw. It's a feature I do like though but could be a weight balance issue which is what causes it to speed up without warning. I enjoy being able to take the seat completely off and turn on the vibrate feature, I can also rock it with my feet with the larger size rocker bar on the bottom. It's much more reliable and predictble when I am in control than when the swing takes off on it's own. I could have paid half the cost for a bouncer and been much more satisfied. Wouldn't recommend.

Cool design

I bought this product in end of may and I am very happy with this product. My daughter born on Aug 2nd. Whenever she is in swing she enjoy her nap. The only thing which I like it least is sound system which was operated with battery and not with power. In addition it has just 2 songs. Apart from that everything is nice.

Concernin change in speeds

Just like other reviews have stated. There seems to be issues in the speed control of the swing. Even on low it goes between swinging at high speed and then slows down like a ghost is operating it. It wakes my baby up, and she feels scared when it starts swinging at high speed. No comforting at all. Also, it seems like the swing leans to the left. I have moved it in several different rooms and my baby always ends up leaned over to the left side of the swing.

Piece of mind

I love the concept of this swing to be able to have the bouncer and swing in one. My daughter enjoys the seat. The only thing that concerns me is the unknown speed the swing will go at any point it thought it was defective but even after receiving a replacement motor part it still concerns me. Maybe when they remake the motor/ turn dial for speed it can be more specific turn dial versus the one that it currently has.

Swing stops light starts to blink

Loved this product until just this week when my baby is in the swing it starts up good for about a good 15 min then slows down and stops. Then the light where the switch is located starts to blink! We unplug it for a bit then plug it back up to see if it works it does but then later will stop with the light blinking on and off again...was purchased 3 months ago ...so it really shouldn't be doing this..
