Truly the best of both worlds!

Wow, do I love this product! When this bouncer/swing combo showed up on my doorstep courtesy of the Wee Spring Parent Panel to try and review, I was so excited to get it assembled.
As a stay-at-home and first-time mom, I've been going through the typical "buy every baby 'container' possible until finding one that works the best" cycle since my baby was born! We have several contraptions that work for different situations, but this one works for several and takes the place of a couple of the others we have!
The first thing I noticed when unpacking the box was how appealing the grey and white color scheme is on this product. I am not a fan of primary colors, which seem to make up a LOT of baby products. I know that bright colors are more stimulating for babies, but with all the baby things in our house, it's nice that at least one of them blends in a little. I also noticed how pleasantly plush the seat is.
When we got it put together, I liked how sturdy the base of the swing is. It's substantial without being overly heavy. The base and bouncer are both weights that feel 'safe' for baby. The control on the swing is very easy to navigate, as it is only a single knob that gets turned to adjust swing speed. The bouncer has two controls, one for two level of vibration and another for two sounds, a lullaby and nature sounds. We like the vibration option because it mimics the vibration in the sleeper we have that our baby sleeps overnight in. Another excellent feature is how QUIET the swing is when in motion! The motor is so much quieter than any of the other motorized baby products we have.
We have found this product to be awesome for our family. I love the portability of the bouncer! It comes on and off the base easily (it comes off easier if baby is IN the bouncer than it does when the bouncer is empty, just due to weight. The base lifts off the ground a little if the bouncer is empty, but that's nothing that putting your foot on the base while lifting the bouncer won't fix) and moves around the house with me all day! I really love being able to take my baby from room to room with me in the bouncer so I can get some things accomplished throughout the day without having to have a bouncer or other product in every room!
The only aspect I would change is the restraints that go over baby's shoulders. They aren't bad by any means, but I would have liked them to have a little padding, especially if the padding was removable and washable.
Overall, we are very pleased and will absolutely recommend this product to our friends, many of who have little babies right now! Thanks again to Wee Spring Parent Panel for providing us this great product to try!

Great swing/seat for young babies

I was given this swing to try as part of the weeSpring Parent Panel. I had not bought a swing for my son previously, as I thought I had enough "big" items, so I was extremely interested in trying this 2 in 1 swing. The swing is very aesthetically pleasing - its neutral colors and design fit in well with our other furniture. I love the feature of the swing seat being able to come off and become a bouncer - one less thing to buy! The seat is easy to remove when it is not occupied, however, I struggled to take it off while my son was still in the seat - I'm sure with more practice, it will become easier. I was able to place the bouncer back on the swing without any issue. The variable swing speed is great, although sometimes it seemed to take a minute to "catch up" when I changed the speed - sometimes when I turned it to go faster, it almost seemed to go slower, before finally going faster. The first time I put my son in it, his eyelids immediately started to get droopy, and before I knew it, he was asleep! Had I known it would work this well, I would have bought one earlier! That being said, this is a smaller swing, so my 6 month old son has almost outgrown it (max weight is 18 lbs, and length is 27"). Bigger swings can be used until 25 - 30 lbs, depending upon the swing. However, I'm excited to be able to use it with our next child, during the earlier months.

A mommy must have!!

This product is wonderful and we love it! Love that it can be a swing or rocker. The rocker comes off easily and is super convenient to use independent! We take the rocker off and carry it from room to room as my daughter likes to be close to me! It’s easy to take off from the swing, light weight, easy to carry and gives two different speeds of soothing vibration which my daughter loves! The swing is amazing too, has multiple directions to swing, isn’t noisy and puts my daughter right to sleep! The adjustable reclining options are a great feature and can be changed with one hand! On the downside it wasn’t the easiest to put together as the directions weren’t super clear but once I got it together it’s been a life saver! I was given this swing and rocker to try as part of the weeSpring Parent Panel and so glad I was given the opportunity! We love all the features and highly recommend this! This is a baby registry must have!!!

Happy Baby, Relaxed Mom!!

Can't stop loving this swing with Portable Bouncer! It came in pieces, but my husband was able to put it together quickly.I LOVE the sleek style and color. It goes perfectly with our "Black-White-Gray" nursery decor. And the tiny friends that came along are so pretty :)
Baby loved it from day one(phew!) She gets super happy whenever I put her in the swing. I completely enjoy the fact that it goes wherever I go, especially since I work from home, I have baby next to me in swing - all happy, cheerful and safe (yay!). And, if I need to move, lift the seat and off we go. The stuff toys on toy bar, sounds and music options, and vibration are plus! Keeps baby entertained. It's simply fabulous!
That being said, our baby (3month old) is 26 inches and I feel she will be outgrowing it super fast. Also, the sound quality could be better.

Fantastic 2-in-1 bouncer and swing

I was given the Graco Portable Bouncer to try as part of the weeSpring Parent Panel. I was especially excited to try this bouncer/swing combo because we are a family of 4 living in small quarters, so space is at a premium (and baby gear tends to take over!).
The way that this portable bouncer works is that the seat can function as a stand alone bouncer that is low to the ground, and then it can also easily fit right on to a swing base as the seat of the swing, making it two excellent pieces of baby gear in one. The bouncer seat is small and plush with a washable cover in a fun, graphic striped pattern.
The swing does not take up as much room as other swings I have tried. The swing can face three different directions and it is really easy to adjust the speed. The seat is also easily adjustable to several different positions and it features a three-point harness which I love for safety reasons. The toy bar is cute and easily adjustable, and my 4 month old loves looking at it. He happily coos at the cute toys and usually falls asleep in the swing. I love the neutral, clean, modern design of this swing as it blends nicely into my home.
This swing and bouncer are portable and the swing plugs in, which is a must. (I have tried another swing that was battery only and that was such a pain.) The bouncer comes on and off of the swing base so easily. I love this swing and bouncer and would absolutely recommend this to anyone who loves the idea of multipurpose, space-saving baby gear that is practical, well made and intelligently designed.

Nice 2 in 1 combo

This is the first swing I've used for my 5 month old. He already has a bouncy chair and likes this one as well. I like how it's easy to switch the position of the chair on the swing to move side to side, or front to back. The vibration bothers him but he enjoys the sounds and music options. My least favorite features were the style of the straps and buckle, and the bar with the toys. The straps and buckle were kind of a pain to get on baby, not very user friendly. The bar with the toys is much too flimsy. It doesn't lock into position very well. I'd like to be able to attach a separate toy to it without the whole thing falling down. I really like the flexibility of having two options for my baby of swing and bouncer. Space saver and convenient! Plus, nice soft materials that are good looking. I received this product from the weeSpring Parent Panel.

Really Nice!

We tried this product as a part of weeSpring Parent Panel. My husband put it together, which was very easy to assemble. Our 3 month old snugged right in! The seat is nicely cushioned with an inserts for younger/smaller infants. There is an overhead arch with detachable cushioned animals that you can adjust to different eye levels for baby. Our baby loves to reach for things in front of her, so its really nice.
Our baby is a slider! She likes to kick and slide down her seats, feet first. The five strap harnest is extremely helpful and grows with the baby. So baby is safely strapped down over shoulders and across her waist. One issue I did find with the safety straps is that its hard to disconnect. I had to push the release button in the correct spot for it to detach. My fear was how this might be an issue if I need to remove her from the seat quickly.
One of my favorite features is being able to change the direction of seat/swing. Its very easy to do and has side handles which makes it easy to lift and re-position. When its attached to the swing, its easier for me to see my baby from across the room and she can see me as well. I think this helps calm her a lot.
Another nice feature is that it can come off the swing completely and be placed on a flat surface as just a bouncer. Its like a 3-in-1 product.

Ok - But Needs Improvement

I received this Graco Duet Swing from the weeSpring Parent Panel to review. First off, it wasn’t easy to put together. There ended up being some sticky tape on the inside where the large bar fit in that was keeping it from snapping into place. Once we figured that the tape was bunched up inside it snapped into place. And, it also came partially assembled but the instructions didn’t indicate that so it was confusing at first.
Things that I do like about the swing are its compact size and amazing power. My daughter is nearly 7 months and 16lbs. This swing has absolutely no issue swinging her. The swing is smaller than other swings on the market so it doesn’t take up too much floor space. I also like the recline option and I do think that would be really nice to have for a newborn. But, it’s very hard to recline it when the seat is facing so it swings side to side as the part is blocked by the swing pole.
The seat doesn’t feel very stable on the swing, but the way it’s designed I know it won’t fall off, but I don’t like how loose it seems. The seat is very easy to pull out and to put onto the floor which is very convenient. It also eliminates the need for a swing and seat!
The seat itself is soft and has an adorable pattern. Unfortunately, the buckle that goes in between the baby’s legs is sewn way too close to the back of the seat making it really hard to buckle up my baby. It may not be an issue for newborns and smaller babies but it has been a frustration for me. That buckle isn’t adjustable and so it ends up digging into her legs because it’s too short.
The play bar that hangs above is cute but doesn’t always stay in place very well. It does make it easy to get baby in and out of the seat without having anything bulkly overhead like other swings can have.
Overall I wouldn’t recommend the swing for bigger babies because of the buckling issue, but for the price, it’s ok.
