Great Daycare Station
on May 1, 2015
Posted by: Mommymomentswithabby
I currently run a home daycare and have a variety of play yards that I use. We use them for a variety of ages from 3 months to 2 years depending on their needs during nap. I have also used them for my own children. My personal oldest is now 5 and my youngest is 9 months. Play yards are a pain to put together! It doesn't matter the brand they all have a lot of parts and it takes time, so when everyone is asleep I get to work on assembly when we get a new one in. What I love about this one, well their are a few things! I love the diaper station! We see a lot of poop here and having the option to change a diaper in each room is often a lifesaver, especially after naps! I also love the vibration setting on this! I just got it this week and already notice that it helps sooth my fussy tummy baby to sleep freeing my lap up! Possibly my favorite thing about this is something that none of the other play yards I've used has, the portable bouncer! This saves money! Possibly my favorite thing is saving money by multipurpose items! I am in love with this feature as bouncers take up space in the room, cost additional money, and can be hard to store when not in use. This allows me to save money, keep my extra space, and eliminate the storage issue!! Plus, the play yard has stages, so it grows with your little one. Great for daycare, the grands, or home! When I saw this playard I knew it would be perfect! It's durable, convenient, and looks great in my living room. Best of all when we travel with the baby, she'll always have a familiar and comfortable place to play and sleep.

The Cadillac of Pack 'n Plays
on May 7, 2015

While I received this product for free, the opinions and thoughts included in this review are my own. This Pack 'n Play exceeded all my expectations. I call it my Cadillac of Pack 'n Plays to everyone who walks in the house & sees it. I use the Pack 'n Play I had until this one arrived for my doggie to stay safe in when I leave the house now. I will never go back to that model. The neutral color of this Play Yard goes with any decor. I keep it my living room. The changing table is the perfect height for me---no more aching back bending over the little one changing her on the floor. The HUGE benefit of this play yard over other models is the 34.4 pound weight limit. It grows with the baby. It can be used well after the age of 2 if your little one is small like mine is. i never dreamed the infant seat would be as useful as it is. It vibrates, plays music, has a light for entertaining a little one. What more could a parent or grandparent want? Why buy a different model that the baby will outgrow in no time. Save money & just buy this model. This is the 3rd Play yard I have had in 2 years. This one is a dream come true. There is even an organizer to hold a couple diapers, portable container of wipes and creams or use it for toys. I am a HUGE fan of bassinets for newborns. They snuggle a newborn and keep them safer than a big, cold crib. This system comes with a bassinet. Now need to run out and buy that too. This is a compact all-in-one system that grows with a baby. I cannot say enough good things about this Pack "n Play. I am IN LOVE.

Many great features!

I loved that this one product had 3 functions and would easily grow with my child. I had been hesitant about getting a playard since others I had seen were not so stable. For the Graco Snuggle Suite LX, this was no issue! The weight of the playard and the quality of its build made me immediately feel this would be safe for my 9 month old.
The playard was assembled so there was not much to put together for it. The bouncer and the changing table came in parts with illustrated instructions. I had bit of a challenge with the changing table. I am normally good with these things but just a couple of things tripped me up about the directions.
Overall, I love this set, especially the playard. It is nice and roomy for my little 22 pounder. He will sit quietly and play for at least an hour and I even seen him fall asleep in it. Definitely a great buy!

Way to Keep Baby Close, Safe and Sleeping
on May 15, 2015

While I received this product for free, the opinions and thoughts included in this review are my own. When we had our first child we had a Graco Pack n Play it was right after the changing portion was introduced. This time around I was excited to try some new features. The best one has to be the integrated bouncer. The changing section is still there and has definitely improved with the new wipe clean fabric, but the bouncer takes the cake for me.
Now instead of having 4 different products taking up space all over the living room we have one. This one Snuggle Suite takes the place of a bouncer, changing table, pack n play, and storage area. Being able to have a bouncer that is part of the pack n play is great. We can easily move our daughter from sleeping in the kitchen in the bouncer to the family room while the big kids play. If she falls asleep in the bouncer but I need to move upstairs to take a shower, I can easily remove the bouncer section and carry her with me. I love that it also has vibration to help soothe her. The pack n play itself has storage on the side to keep wipes and diapers on hand and a electronic section that offers music and light for our daughter.

All the Bells and Whistles

Well, this playard pretty much has it all. (This is a long review, but I find the detailed ones to be the most helpful.)
I was very excited about trying out the Snuggle Suite, because of a disappointing experience with a different brand of playard. Here’s the breakdown of my experience with the various features and accessories.
Playard: Very easy set-up for the basic playard & mattress. It took about a minute! The thing I love most about it is the mattress. Our previous playard had a mattress that felt like a board—very hard. This one feels comfortable, with a little bit of give, while still being firm enough to be safe. My baby definitely sleeps better/longer on this mattress than he used to on the other one.
I also liked that the playard was narrow enough to fit through doorways after being assembled, so I could wheel it into the living room to give my baby a safe place to play and watch me do some cleaning.
My husband was impressed with the stylish appearance of the playard, including the curved ends. I think it looks pretty classy myself--if it’s possible to have an elegant playard. :)
Bassinet: Attaching the bassinet was simple: remove the mattress from playard, snap the plastic clamps over the edges of the playard, connect the metal pieces in the base of the bassinet to support the mattress, and replace the mattress. Again, ease of assembly is key to making this an item I would want to use.
Changing table and diaper/wipes caddy: The changing table is a good height, and easy to attach to the playard. However, the assembly of this piece was tricky. I followed the directions in the book and managed to get it together eventually. The cover is wipeable, but if I had a baby that was prone to accidents, I’d put a pad of some sort on it, since I don’t think it would be a simple matter to take apart for cleaning.
The diaper/wipe holder has three generous compartments, and is also easy to attach to the end of the playard. It’s convenient to store diaper changing supplies right next to the changing platform.
Bouncer: This took a while to assemble, but wasn’t too complicated. Again, I read the instructions. I haven’t actually used this piece, since my baby is too big for it, but I’m glad to have it for future children (I hope) since I borrowed one last time. It’s a bit larger than the one I was used to, but still looks pretty portable. It snaps onto the playard frame easily, although I’d use it as a freestanding bouncy seat.
Music/Nature sounds player & nightlight/look light: This handy gadget snaps onto the edge of the playard. I actually put it on my baby’s crib for regular nighttime use. It plays music and nature sounds (I use one of the sounds for white noise while my baby goes to sleep) and has a timer for five, ten, or fifteen minutes. There are several different settings for the nightlight and “look light.”
I’m not sure how long this thing stays on if you don’t use the timer, but it does shut off eventually, because I left it on without the timer once and when I came back several hours later it had shut off.
Summary: If you are looking for a product that does a lot of different things, and does them well, this might be just what you need. I am very pleased with the Graco Snuggle Suite LX and think it will continue to work well for me and my family.
