Not impressed - is not a smooth ride!

My husband and I purchased this stroller for our first child that was born 5 months ago. When it came to making a decision we decided to do quite a bit of research about strollers and quality/ safety, after coming across this stroller (the travel system) and seeing how well this stroller was rated and checking it out in store we thought it would make the purchase - and might I add, quite a large purchase at that! Not long after use I noticed that the front wheels would lock and the stroller wouldn’t push forward or turn in the direction I needed or wanted it to. I would have to lean the stroller back onto it’s back wheels and turn the stroller that way in order to get it moving. Quite often some how the stroller will also lock in the middle of pushing which I found strange. Not only do the wheels lock, but after a rain fall and a wet slightly muddy ground I could barely push my baby in the stroller as every little piece of dirt, leaves, etc was getting jammed in the wheel-wells -not fun!! I also have squeaky wheels which is annoying for not only myself and my baby but for the people around us when we are out about! We also have a nephew (under the age of 3) that we have used the back standing option with him while out on a walk and it became extremely difficult to not only push but to turn while having him on there - this stroller is specifically made for an additional child and it made it even harder to use. Lastly, when using with just the car seat (haven’t needed the seat yet as my baby is just 5 months old) baby is hard to reach while just pushing, the car seat is sat so far back and low that the handle is just completely in the way. If I need to quickly wipe my baby’s face (he spits up alot) I am constantly needing to stop and go to the side of the stroller to tend to him. It’s also quite difficult to get him into the car seat while it’s attached to the stroller because of the odd angle.
Needless to say, I’m VERY disappointed with the stroller especially with the large price I paid expecting I was getting the best of the best.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am pretty obsessed with this stroller system! With 2 kids, strollers can be a real hassle. This one is the exception. I love that it has so many options as far as seat position (infant car seat, forward facing in the stroller seat, stroller seat facing towards you, bassinet, etc...) I also love that my older child can sit in the separately purchased second seat or use this as a sit and stand stroller. My baby loves that he can face his big brother when riding too! The handle also expands upward which is a plus for my very tall husband and myself! My only complaint is that it can still be a bit bulky when it is expanded for both kids.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I love this stroller. I have three children and there is so much space for all their stuff. I like the phone holder as a convenience. The only thing that I dont like is that the base is so large it's hard to fit into my trunk
