Accurate yardage and easy to navigate

I purchase a month ago and have used 8 times with excellent feedback and ratings. Lightweight, hardly know that is on my wrist. Added updates.

Simple to work the many functions.

I received for a birthday gift. So far I used it for one round of golf. Had been using a GPS on my I watch. This unit is so much easier to use. Loved the scoring feature. Also pleased with accuracy and speed that hole numbers update. Set up was relatively easy. The only downside so far is sharing activity function with the apple health app. On line you tube Demos I found were not very detailed. I think I finally got information to sync but it wasn’t easy and if I have to do it again, I have no idea how to do it again.

Good activity tracker so far

I have only had it for a few days and today took it on a 7 mile walk. Great screen that is easy to read. Mileage was the same as the old fitbit. Steps, calories and duration all worked fine. Is light weight. I even wore it to bed last night for an interesting sleep analysis.

Works well, but not very customizable

I just want the golf function, notifications from my phone and to tell the time. I never planned to use 1,000 apps on it, so limited function isn't a deal breaker for me.
Only 2 downsides for me. 1: can't add any additional watch faces or widgets. I don't need them, but it would be nice. 2: seems like it disconnects and reconnects a lot. This gets a little annoying at times.

hard to navigate- users manual incomplete- need more explicit info on navigating the numerous functions

This is my second Garmin golf watch. I have not used all the features but so far much better than the first. I LIKE IT a LOT!

Much better than expected

Have never been pleased with my old gray and black digital GPS watch! Not being able to see the distances in the sun with or without sunglasses! Surprise, this s40’s technology is way over the top! Excellent visibility in the sun or cloudy days, looks great and the Garmin Golf app gives you more data then you could ever imagine! Very pleased.
