Functional with plenty of features

I've had the S40 for a few months and it's pretty nice... Battery is good for about 2 rounds ( if you play consecutive days)... My particular watch takes a little bit of time locating satellites, but once it finally does it functions well. I have used it through many rounds and it's been very reliable very comfortable and easy to use... Very happy with my S40 and I would recommend to anyone looking for a golf watch.. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because the battery could last a little longer and locating satellites can be a struggle sometimes.... To me it's a 4.5 star watch

Great battery life, easy to navigate, all of the features anyone would need. The slim and light design make it easy to wear. The newest software update is awesome.

Excellent Golf Watch; Good Smart Watch

The golf tracking is great with everything you need for distances and hazards. The battery life is strong - around 20-22% used in a round; 8-10% used in a non-golf day. The screen is totally visible in daylight. The watch weight is light. The apps are static, but good enough for most days and uses. The only con is that I'd like to have more watch faces available to me.

Wonderful Operation

I purchased my S40 about two months ago and it is exactly what I wanted vs my old S2. Substantial upgrade in battery life, shows distances to and over hazards in front, scoring, can track swings, putts, etc. It also connects and uploads to the Garmin app on my phone, so I can look at each scorecard. Highly recommend.

pretty good but has some flaws

i like the overall watch. the golf course info is really good, except for a couple of minor flaws. the pin placements are not exact on the watch as a GPS rangefinder, so i find i need to use both. also the scorecard sometimes changes the score for a previous hole on its own or it loses a score for a hole. havent figured out why yet.
also for fitness it is great step keeper, but doesnt keep your pulse as advertised. i think you need to purchase additional stuff for that. overall though for golf something that i will use regularly.

I purchased s40 watch 2 months ago, I really enjoy all the functions it has and especially the shot distance trackers for each shot. Great watch , with great features.
