Peace of Mind and Reliable Speeds

I was in the market for an upgrade on my router. I decided that in today’s world it’s best to have a little security added in as well. I also purchased this router for its ability to handle a decent amount of devices and still seeing optimal WiFi performance on main devices. I can set up more smart home devices and feel protected doing so. Overall a great router!

Consistent drops

I bought this device JUST over a year ago to replace the R7000 I had used for years and was quite happy with until it just bogged down gave out. I've had non-stop signal drops ever since. I add one system and it kicks off another. I have less than a dozen devices in my house and even though I'm in a room 12 feet above the router, I can't keep a consistent signal for the life of me. I've read way too many reviews by other people with the same issue. This device is garbage.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Better router

I recently replaced an older tp link router with this netgear one and now have an improved signal throughout my home not a dramatic increase in signal strength but very stable output.

So far so good with this router, we had a very old netgear before and needed a upgrade. Our WiFi has improved, and we have 4 Smart TVs, an iPad and 4 phones connected and it has gotten better :)
