This router has worked well for our 2500 sq ft home w many Alexa devices/smart plugs along w streaming 2-3 TVs at once.

The setup was simple and the features are great. I had 30 devices on wifi with drops so I got the Nighthawk which solved all issues. The range is also longer.

Nighthawk Wi-Fi router

Not sure what happened but after setting this up for a client the Wi-Fi radios stopped working right as I was about to walk out the door. I’ve never seen this behavior in any other product. After several reboots and the radios not turning back on, I did a factory reset and had to completely reconfigure the Wi-Fi router. I lost nearly an hour of time because of this. Inexcusable.

R7000 Nighthawk - Great Range

I bought because of the need to connect some devices at multiple ends of the house inside and outside. I tried range extenders with no improved connection. Finally purchased the nighthawk and it has been awesome!

Good reliable and VPN compatable

This is a good router. The connections are strong, consistent, and VPN compatable (you can install a VPN directly onto router) with Express VPN. My speed tests have increased (even with an on board VPN) as compared to xfinitys Gateway. I can easily log into router controls through QR code reader or simply typing in the default gateways ip and configure many settings, or stop any connection I choose.

great router, phone app setup not desired
