Great router, but not so easy setup

The router seems to work great. Speedy and some decent features. Setup was not so straightforward. I could not get it to setup through the app at first. Tried connecting directly and had some luck with that. Got it setup with a combination of the app and web interface. Loses one star because of setup issues.

Works well but was not factory reset

Works well after set up but it was not restored to factory settings after purchasing. Had to call to see if it was a software issue which took longer than anticipated

Smartphone problem

Not everyone has a smartphone. You should supply an alternate installation procedure.

I was having trouble trying to use my laptop and phone to use the internet. My last hope was getting my Netgear and once I installed it, in minutes I was back up and running any time of the day. Thank you Netgear.

Love my Nighthawk

I have had coverage issues for months at my home. Since I installed the Nighthawk everything streams very fast ! I recommend a Nighthawk in every home!

Netgear Nighthawk AC2300

My old Netgear router kept dropping the signal lately, and I was rebooting about three times a day. I had enough and started researching for an upgrade. All the reviews were praising the Nighthawk. I must admit that all the reviews were correct. The Nighthawk was very easy to set up with the new phone app. I was up and running in half an hour. I am a 70 year old senior and not tech savvy. I was able to save my old netgear passwords, so most all of my devices connected to the Nighthawk right away. I have a 2500 square foot home, that had some low reception in certain rooms. No more, strong signals through out the entire house. I love the phone app and the built in security that comes with this router. This router is worth investing in. I am enjoying this upgrade.
