R7000P worth every penny

My dad turned me on to the Nighthawk series and I am glad he did (so far). I use to have an equivalent Linksys router but always had issues with the firmware and it never really allowed me to use all of the 100 Mbps I was paying for. Whenever I ran a speed test of any sort I would get 30-40 Mbps. That's not bad if that is what I was paying to get. I installed the Nighthawk (which was extremely easy to do) and have been running Speedtest periodically and I have been getting speeds right at 100 or even slightly higher. That's a win. It's been a month or so since installing it but so far it's been great.

Nighthawk r7000 to the rescue

I recently purchased this router since upgrading to Xfinity gig service and had nothing but issues with speeds and streaming. Since installing this along with a cm1000 speeds have been great and canstream on mixer ftl@4000 bitrate all day long

Exactly what you need

Our house is about 2400 square ft. My son kept losing signal playing xbox so I added this baby and we're back to flawlessly streaming and more Fortnight than I care to admit. I highly recommend it, even for a bigger house.

We went from using a New router and WiFi extender which produced 17 MB/s to this router which is placed in the same location as our old router and deleted the extension from the network. Same pc is getting 126MB/s at the complete opposite end of the house and on a different floor. House is only 1400 sf, but that says a lot. Happy with our purchase and would suggest to others.
