Amazing Router

Before this router, I had bought a different Netgear router(that I can't remember the model number for) that kept on rebooting and the channels router would need to be rebooted manually up to 5 or 6 times a day. After that, I decided to go for a new router and I was thinking about avoiding Netgear all together but ended up giving them another chance and I have to say that I'm glad I did! This router had a super easy setup and it hasn't dropped its connection once since I set it up. The router provides many options and provides very fast speeds on both the 5 ghz and 2.4 ghz channels. I am very happy with this router!

Good router

Router AC2300 is a good performance router, it has strong wifi signal and good for most of family. The installation is pretty simple, you only need to follow the steps either on installation guide or GUI prompts to complete most os tasks. Dual Band feature can support all devices in your family that requires different speed and distance connections. WPS button provides easy setup for some smart devices. This router provide many advance features as well, like remote management, share drive and port forward. The app Nighthawk on iPhone or Android is easy to view or manger the router. Recommend to use this router for everyone.

Fast but not the best switch

the Wi-Fi part of my router is fast and reliable but only if I don't have anything plugged into the Ethernet switches. I'm not sure what it's doing but it'll constantly kick off Wi-Fi if I plug some devices into hardwire. I got around this by using a gigabit switch before the router and just use the router as Wi-Fi only. I think this may be an isolated problem but a problem I've noticed nonetheless. The actually Wi-Fi portion is blazing fast and has really good range so can't complain. I do like it and the lights on the front are super bright which for me is a good thing since it's like a night light in my hallway.

So far so good

I'm not a techie, I relied on IT sources to help me with my online set-up at home. Before setting up this router, I had a problem with signals reaching my whole 2000 SQ FT house. Also, I had constant the occasional buffering on internet streaming which would tick my husband off to no end during big games.
The Netgear WiFi Router has fixed all my problems. Signal reaches everywhere in the house and no more buffering on any of our devices. I also love how easy it's been to set-up and use, even for me. I like how Netgear keeps in touch via email to help me further maintain and use the router with ideas that I wouldn't have thought of on my own.

My WiFi was starting to become slow with my old router and it was the same brand and still worked perfectly fine but we upgraded to higher speed of internet and well it wasn't compatible anymore so we switched to this one and ever since then I haven't had any problems watching movies on my smart TV and I am able to use my phone while watching the movie and it was honestly a game changer. My sisters were happy again about watching movies on our tv and we can finally have guests over to watch movies and I'm so glad I got this product. I waited a couple of weeks in order to actually review the product and see how it works and I definitely recommend!

Strong and Powerful Router

This was recommended to me by a friend (along with a particular modem) and I was not disappointed. Great signal throughout my house with only a 30% drop in MB/s in my basement. 3 kids and a wife who typically stream shows while I game and I rarely experience any lag. Will highly recommend to my other friends that demand more out of their router. Setup was easy enough with the app. Downside being I had to download the app through mobile data (as my router wasn't set up). The app itself was pretty straightforward, I thought. To get the most out of this router, you need to have a solid modem. Weak modem, this router might be overkill. All in all, very happy.

The Netgear Nighthawk AC2300 is an amazing Wifi Router. We use it for multiple devices in our home. It is very powerful and is SUPER fast compared to our old Wifi Router. I was in need of a GOOD router to run my Home Security camera, in order to keep an eye on my epileptic dog while I am away from home. The Netgear Nighthawk AC2300 made connecting to my camera a breeze and has gave me peace of mind while away. So Thank you Netgear for manufacturing an excellent product that helps keep my Wifi running smoothly and helps give me peace of mind. Great Product/Great Price...I would definitely recommend it to others looking to update their Wifi Routers!!

The tops for routers

I'm on Verizon fios 100/100 for my home, and I had been using a Verizon supplied router. I upgraded to this model over the holidays and the difference is night and day! Up and down speeds have increased at least 5x, and I haven't experienced a single disconnect, compared to the Verizon router which I had to restart 1-2 times a month. My house is much better covered by WiFi, and all of my connected devices are on with no congestion. The netgear app is also a very nice management suite, and I can find all the advanced options with a few taps on my smartphone. I've been completely satisfied and blown away by this router, what a quality of life improvement!
