Extraordinary Router

Excellent router, SO GLAD I made the decision to purchase the Nighthawk AC2300. I purchased a different router by a different company originally, and was having major connectivity issues. Nobody knew why I was losing signal. I went to the store and purchased this router and it was completely fixed. The App is really great and intuitive, and the signal is very strong. I have a smart thermostat also and it is receiving an incredibly high ping and staying charged easier because of the router's strength. We have many devices hooked up to it and are streaming 4K video! Thanks, Netgear!

NETGEAR Nighthawk AC2300 is AWESOME!!!

I have been dealing with the constant headache of cable network provider equipment from a faulty router not getting the speed that I'm paying for. Also some issues where the speed would fluctuate up and down. With the NETGEAR Nighthawk AC2300 I have had constant excellent performance. No more fluctuating signal. My internet speed is 100 mbps up and 100 mbps down. Since I've replace the old router with the Nighthawk I am actually getting 35 to 37 more mbps up and down CONSTANTLY!!! Also the greatest thing I forgot to mention is no more fees for renting faulty or outdated cable equipment.

Nighthawk AC2300

I was sceptical about getting the Nighthawk AC2300. I had multiple wifi extenders in the house also alot of devices on the wired and also the wifi network. After reading what seemed like a thousand reviews I decided on the nighthawk and boy I was not disappointed. It was fast and easy to set up, I'm taking minutes, I love the guest network, but what I liked the most was unplugging all of the wifi extenders and having one network in the house, no more connecting to a wifi extender.The speeds are what I'm paying for with no latency. Excellent product, would recommend to anyone on the fence

Firmware updates for my old router had ceased years ago; that contraption really belonged in a museum next to the fossil exhibit. I settled on this Netgear model only after hours of reading reviews and doing comparison shopping online. Recalling what was involved in installing and setting up my previous router, I was jittery at first. Well, guess what? This time, the process was MUCH quicker and easier. Netgear's box practically installed itself and then walked me step-by-step to the finish line. Now I can sleep better, knowing that forthcoming firmware updates will be on autopilot.

Great for our large home!

The Nighthawk AC2300 has been a great router for us. We have a large 2 story 3000 sq ft home. Our previous router was not dual band, did not reach more that 50% of our home, and struggled when multiple people were on the WiFi. The Nighthawk has good coverage throughout the entire house and even outside. The dual band is a big plus too! It Nighthawk performs well even when multiple people are using the WiFi simultaneously and I am so glad to have "guest" accounts available for visitor use. It was easy to set up and I love the monitoring and information that the free app offers as well.

Time is money!

This is by far the best gaming investment I have made. My old technicolor combo router was just garbage compared to this router. I got tired of slow downloads and inconsistant speeds and decided to upgrade to the nighthawk. It has a lot of settings and is great for gaming due to its strong consistant speed. I also have noticed that my wifi signal has a very long reach with good connection to my other smart t.v.(atleast 35ft away). I strongly urge anyone reading this review to try it out. If your anything like me and hate waiting on slow downloads you need this.Trust me you wont be dissapointed.

It had been 7 years since I bought my last router. In that time games, Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, etc came along and the need for speed was there. I didn't realize how much I was missing till I bought the Nighthawk. I now have my home automation on the 2.4 channel and my phones on 5g. What a difference. I was paying for 150 MPS and wasn't even coming close to being able to use it. The speed is phenomenal and the control interface is so simple my 84 year old father could set it up. I've bought nothing but Netgear for the past 7 years because of that ease. Best router I've owned so far.

Solid router with Disney Circle

I was looking for a way to block content from my kids, so I was looking at the Disney Circle. After talking to a few friends that have it, they explained that by the kids simply unplugging it (accidentally of course), they could get around the filters. So when I was looking, I found out the nighthawk routers had it built in and I was wanting to upgrade anyways. Setup was super easy, it has a great iPhone app and web access, and Disney Circle is great although you do have to pay subscription to get the most out of it. All in all, I'm very happy with the router and the built in Disney Circle feature.
