Love it so far

We got this because of a friends recommendation on Disney Circle. Thrilled with the speed and connectivity of the router. Really like the control you have over the content and access.
Disney Circle is hands down the reason we bought this particular router and it has been WAY WORTH IT. Our kids are a bit young right now, but soon their friends and others will be bringing devices into our home and we love being able to filter the content they will be able to access when we likely won't be around (or awake).
Thank you NetGear for the Disney Circle integration!

I love this router, my wifi access is no longer lagging and cell phone access to home wifi log on automatically without any issues saving me use of data plan/fees . Thank you. Superb product and I can't express enough appreciation for circle app on netgear. I don't haveto worry about my kids accessing websites not suitable for their age. Also it limits them to time allotted by me in their internet usage. I finally had control back in my household. I use the circle app to either reward them of good behavior or limit access which is a consequence for negative behaviors.

Fast, Flexible, all the advanced features I needed

I'm amazed at the speed and feature set of my new NetGear NightHawk R7000P. I read a lot of reviews of the current to WiFi routers and this one consistently was the top choice.
It also has all of the advanced features that I need: MAC to IP address mappings, VPN (back to home network), QoS (to ensure my VOIP phone never drops packets), and strong WiFi for multiple devices streaming video.
It's WiFi signal is also strong enough that it replaced 3 other WiFi APs in my house that is 2400 sq ft.
I'm extremely happy with this router! One of the best out there today.

Very easy setup.

This router has everything I need. The option to auto switch between 2/5 to keep me best connected is great. I love the app. It is very useful and allows me to monitor who is on my network and turn off their connection from my phone (useful for kids who need a break). I am very happy with this router. The Wi-Fi did drop a few times but it's nothing compared to my last router that would leave us disconnected for hours. I recommend this router for anyone with multiple devices that need connection. We have 12 devices connected wirelessly and three on a LAN. Well worth the money!

Smart Router

So far this has been an excellent router. It is quick and reliable for most channels. The only problem I have encountered is reception for a few channels that also had poor reception with a digital antenna. Channels 7 (WABC), 11 (WPIX) and at times 13 (WNET) have spotty reception. Channel 7 and most of the times the main Channel 11 are unwatchable. This may have more to do with the broadcast quality of the individual channels but I have no way to find out what the problem with these channels are. Still, there are many free movies, TV shows and music selections to choose from.

Top Of The Line Router

I bought this to replace my aging Linksys router. There is 6 of us in the house and everyone has a smart tv, cell phone, game systems etc all connected to the internet. Even our fridge has wifi! That being said, we had loads of connection issues. If 1 person was watching netflix, the rest of us suffered. It's been a week since I got this Nighthawk and so far it has been an absolute lifesaver. No more complaining from anyone that the "internets not working" and very stable, constant coverage. It is very customizable as well. My one regret is not purchasing this sooner!

Great Reception

I recently was frustrated with the reception of my wifi router that came from my local cable provider. For many months I wasn't able to get any reception in my basement. I looked at adding a extender buy couldn't find any that was compatible with my current wifi router. I decided to give netgear a try. I was instantly satisfied. not only did I get service where I wasn't able to before, I also got faster speeds on my downloads. Also there wasn't any longer any dropped wifi signal. In summary get a Netgear router! My cable providers router was good but the Netgear router is GREAT!

Great Replacement

Needed a router /gateway to replace the issued Frontier Fios one that just was not cutting it to stream live feeds using the PS Vue service. Paired this AC2300 Nighthawk with the Netgear AC750 wifi extender and it is doing a great job.Currently using two gen-4 apple TV devices plus all the other wifi devices in the house and this router is keeping up just fine.Highly recommended if trying to use one of the online live TV services but you will also have be running a stable high speed internet connection. It was a easy setup using the Nighthawk app and was pretty much plug and play.
