Great Router

I'm a cable wire cutter, so I need a router that can handle constant streaming on multiple devices. Since upgrading to this router I have noticed that my 4K streaming is perfect. Also like having the ability to make changes via the smart phone app. I am also very happy about being being able to use the router as a VPN server. Now I can have a secure encrypted connection when I need to use my laptop in public places like Starbucks. This is a fantastic feature and so far it's been working flawlessly. This is a lot of router for a reasonable price.

Fabulous, perfect for our home

My boyfriend and I have quite a few things running on WiFi! This router gets it done! It doesnt crash and it never slows down! We usually have about 5 things on at all times including phones and not once do we ever notice a lag! It's perfect! Especially for anyone into gaming or streaming! And the nighthawk app that goes along with it is so handy! You can view and change all your settings, name your router, check your speeds and view who is connected to your router right at the palm of you hand on any Apple or android smart phone! I give it 5 stars!

Great router

Over the last couple weeks I have been running this. It was really easy and intuitive to set up and it has great software support on both the desktop browser and the mobile app. It has good features that go with it, QoS and manual device prioritization are great for dealing with multiple users and splitting the riff-raff from important traffic.
I get great performance out of it, everything I expected out of a 100 mbps connection. The range is great for a relatively small apartment and even the 5GHz network has better than expected range for my desktop.

Best router I've ever owned

After some false starts and a ton of research, I decided on this router for speed, ease of setup, reliability and strength of signal. It delivers on all counts. Thought I might have to buy an extender because my last router couldn't reach all devices in all rooms. Bought this router, however, and my problems with traffic and signal reach were solved. And the router I replaced was a more expensive, 4 antenna router that was less than a year old. This router handles multiple streams with ease and has an amazing signal range. You will not be disappointed!

Amazing

I just moved out for the first time, and had to learn how to do everything. I was nervous about setting up internet, and thought it would be complicated. But I got the nighthawk router. Soon as I got home and opened the box, I had the WiFi working, WiFi name changed, and a new password. All within 10 minutes. The set up process was amazing. Let alone the strength of the signal, and the distance it can go is incredible. Love it for streaming my movies and games. Above all, I love how quick my phone reacts to it. One of the best purchase I've made in awhile!

Netgear A.C. 2300 router

I am using this router as an access point for i.p. security cameras as well as an internet connection for employees. The range and signal are superior to any other router I have used before. I was having connectivity issues because of the massive area i am covering, which is well over limitations, but since I installed the ac2300 those issues are gone. In fact i am getting excellent signal 350 ft away to my fartherest camera which is actually closer to an existing router but the ac2300 is providing a stronger signal at 350 ft than the existing router 150 ft away.

Only router with buying

This router has been absolutely fantastic. I had begun to think that routers and wireless internet were just one of those things in life that you had to deal with being half as reliable as you wanted them to be. This router has come along and completely changed my mind. Service never drops, the range of reception it produces is remarkable, and it easily carries every device in the house all at once, which is something that I wasn't use to. The R7000P is a little costly, but it is WELL worth the extra money when coming it to other average routers. Highly recommend!

Great addition

Got this router to replace the one the cable company installs as theirs continued to cycle off dropping all wifi until reboot. It's been about two weeks and I love this router, very stable connections and great features that I am using. The USB ports allow me to plug in a printer as well as a external had for added storage to my home network, so far this router is great. The main reason I chose this brand and model is that my IT folks at work highly recommended this brand and called out to buy a nighthawk as they were the best on the market. Thanks netgear!
