Major Improvement

If you haven't replaced your router in 3-4 years, now is the time. I'd been running a top of the line router that was ~3 years old. (Archer C7) When I replaced it with this, the difference was night and day. Wifi signal is much stronger, speed is hugely improved. The difference is even noticeable during 'light-weight' activities like browsing! Running multiple heavy loads at once doesn't degrade the performance. We can watch netflix, stream steam games, run heavy downloads/vpns/etc for work simultaneously without issue.

A very well rounded router

This router meets all the needs of the family. It has features like smart link which puts each persons device on the proper WiFi band, wether that be the 5Ghz or the 2.4Ghz. It also allows me to control the times people re allowed to be on as well as the ability to block things and limit time that everyone can be on if need be. The best feature in my opinion is the ability it has to prioritize the traffic that is going through it whether that be someone streaming or playing online games it meets the speeds that we need.

Life saving router!

This router has everything you could possibly need. You simply download the app and follow easy step by step instructions and have your internet up in running in 5 minutes. You can also track your kids internet history through the included kids app for parents who like to monitor. I have had zero buffering videos and no longer have lagged in my online gaming sessions. I highly recommend for anyone looking for a router that is budget friendly but has everything a much more expensive competitor would charge you double for.

Just wow

After having a few other routers that did not perform to my standards I began to look for alternatives. I purchased two types of linksys routers that frustrated me to no end. So I decided to branch out and give this router a try. I have zero dead spots in my house, Connectivty has increased, and I even get signal at my neighbors house. The performance has exceeded my expectations. As for longevity of the device I've only used it a few weeks so I can't answer;however, I will update the review if it becomes a concern.

A huge improvement!

We were having trouble with our internet for years -- connection problems, loss of signal, fluctuating performance at different times of day or with changes in the weather -- and it got much worse in the last few months. I decided to try a new router. I did some research and chose the Nighthawk R7000P. What a difference! Our internet speeds have roughly doubled, we no longer fail to connect, our connections aren't dropped, and we have a strong signal throughout the house. The Nighthawk has lived up to its reputation!

Best router for your buck

I am getting better wireless speed than wired! My wired speed is still good at 100 Mbps but my wireless is getting around 110mbps. The ease of installation is also a plus. The apps let's me change my SSID name and password with no trouble at all. I can see who is connected and even block devices. It has a parent control feature if you have kids. The range is perfect for my apartment. If you have a bigger house you might need to set up repeaters but for a all house it's good. Only thing I'm finding hard to do is hide my SSID.

Buy this router!

I caught wind of this router as a result of the Wirecutter's review and purchased it alongside the Netgear CM500 modem after having used an 8-year-old modem/router combo. I was pulling 12mb/s down, 3mb/s up from RCN without full coverage throughout my apartment and knew I was paying for faster internet than that; with the combo of the CM500 and the AC2300, I'm now pulling 55mb/s down, 10mb/s up with full coverage in my apartment. Love the smart 2.4gHz/5Hz switcher'” I feel like that's helping manage things even further.

Dependable, Reliable, and Fast

Through out the years of living in our home, we have had issues with routers from our internet providers. I was in search for a dependable, reliable, and super fast router and that is when I came across the Nighthawk AC2300. The service I have been getting from the Nighthawk router has been 'Amazing' and has far exceeded my expectations!!! We have yet to experience any issues with connection throughout the home using various devices and I will continue to promote your product as long as mine is working above my expectations.
