Now we've only had our Router for about a week now however when our internet is working it's AMAZING! We are having a few connectivity issues however I think they are related to the internet issues we have been having so I'm going to break away some time to call our internet provider again to see what they can do about everything before contacting Netgear about the product. Overall setup was extremely easy and the usage with Circle has been great so far! I would highly recommend to anyone!

Great for Home!

We run up to 20 devices at a time and the NightHawk handles it flawlessly! We can have guests over, all of our devices, and even the kids gaming online all at the same time with no slow downs. pretty impressive. The control via the App are an added bonus too. You can see what devices are on the network, add parental controls, and set 'cutoff' times for the kids on school nights. Overall, the performance and features are well worth the money. If you are considering an upgrade, get one of these.

Primo streaming!

I baought a smaller netgear router and it wouldnt connect! I tried fir 5 hours!!!
So as I was totally frustrated, my parents came over and said "stop, we bought you the Nighthawk netgear" i wss stoked! It took me less than 45 minutes to get it registered and streaming. I live way up on a mountain and my internet receiver is way on top of another mountain beyond a range of very large pine trees! My reciever is way up in the top of a tree. Im so impressed how this router is working!!! Love it!

Fixed my problem

Went in with my previous router dropping wireless connections made with the various tablets, cast devices, laptops and even the wireless hvac control we have now 2-5 times daily even more often with heavy use. I have not lost or been dropped in the two plus weeks now running. For the money it deserves a 5 rating I think, free backup as well. Range was a tad disappointing but could be placement. However if you lock in a signal depend on it, you don't get dropped. Good, fast, dependable affordable router.

I've recently switched from wireless problems to a problem free wireless network that is controlled by a company that actually cares about WHO connects to your WiFi this device needs an owner to activate and an owner to connect devices no access to WiFi out of your Registered devices and a simple application to tell you what is exactly connected I had bandwidth increase and problems dropp right off Thanks Nighthawlk and my speed went up to 114 I was at 20 sometimes 60 sometimes with router suppliers .DONE

Night (Hawk) and day

I am coming from a long series of rented routers from my isp providers and... -Wow- what a difference. Reliably three times the speed and no weird beam shadows and/or glitching. Wish I had upgraded and bought my own long ago. Excellent product. I would say that the printed setup info is in need of some work. The downloadable set up wizard is for iOS only and is called a different name on the apple site. Took a while to wade through the options and get it together. However, like I said, once done, excellent!

We chose this router as an upgrade from the basic one the cable company gave us. Our son plays video games and we watch a lot of streaming videos on our Firestick. With the old router we had A LOT of lag and nothing worked right. With this router we can stream videos and our son can play his games with no problems. With the app for the phone I can disable internet to certain devices whenever I need to. I would recommend this router to anyone with a busy household with more than a couple devices that use wi-if.

Great router

I got this for streaming 4k yo multiple devices, and it has worked out great so far. The device has lots of features, and even supports custom firmwares if you want to take it there. I personally like the built in firmware which even supports adding USB storage and sharing to the web. The speed is super fast especially for wifi. It offers guest access. It also has 2 wifi radios which it can combine as one access point for more reliable and faster speeds when more than one device is connected. Definitely recommend.
