Best router I've ever owned

I've had several models of routers in the past. This is my first Netgear router and I'm in love. The 7000p provides a solid 5ghz signal throughout my 2100 sq ft house, including the far ends where I was getting dead spots with my previous router. Combined with the crazy amount of features in the advanced portion of the GUI, I'm excited and happy that I bought this router. Looking forward to a wonderful couple years with this machine in my arsenal!

Fast and reliable

After moving to a larger house my 4 year old D-Link couldn't keep up and died. After about 3 hrs in Best Buy and lots of research, I bought this beast. Immediately saw a difference in speed, range and stability. No more buffering, lagging or dropping connection speed while streaming movies or gaming. Admin controls are freaking awesome and the app is super convenient. Really didn't want to pay this much for a router but it was 100 percent worth it!

Amazing!

I bought the Nighthawk AC2300 WI-FI Router to replace my old outdated one. I really didn't expect to see such a vast improvement in speed. I've got 100Mb internet service and now I get almost all of that via WI-FI with this router. With my old one I barely got 30Mb. Now there's no buffering at all when watching streaming movies. I've already recommended it to two friends who also purchased one and both got the same results that I did. Fantastic!!!

Excellent range and speed

This router delivers great range and speed. I have a large house, and I simply located this router in a somewhat central location, and that was good enough to provide an excellent signal to all parts of my home...no extenders needed. I also have about 10 devices connected to WiFi at any given time, some of which are involved in bandwidth-hogging activities like streaming, and there are absolutely no problems with speed on any of the devices. Great product!

Only 1 bad thing...

This is the best router I have ever owned. It has absolutely no issue keeping up with my internal network and my ISP. The only issue I wish I had the option to change is the LED lights that are really bright. As this is a beautiful router I like to have it out in the open to see. And quite frankly, it so nice to look at that the 'problem' with the lights seems dwarfed. Over all this is the last router I pan on buying (until the next generation comes out).

Must have Router

By far the best router of it's class. It's perfect for my average American family of four with three times as many devices. Not only does it handle the load like it was it's job, it also keeps my devices safe and sound behind white picket fence in my suburban home with Bitdefender Security from all the mayhem of the internet. Do yourself a favor, get you a NightHawk from Netgear and never listen to your kids complain about viruses and shady connections again.

Super easy setup

We got this router to replace one that had simply stopped working. I had no idea how much better our wi-fi would be! It was remarkably easy to setup, although I have a very good understanding of this kind of tech, it was almost foolproof. The instructions were clear, and even those who don't "get" computers etc... should really have no issues. Our wi-fi is so much faster and more reliable now, I'm kicking myself for not doing this sooner. Well worth the price.

Super easy set-up!

We recently ditched cable tv and now stream everything which required an upgrade to our home network technology. Netgear routers were recommended to us and it does not disappoint! The Nighthawk AC2300 is just the right router for our size house and our streaming needs. It took less than 15 minutes to set up and get running. We now actually get the speed for which we pay and have almost no buffering when live-streaming tv (even when we're using other devices).
