I replaced our Apple Airport Extreme with this wireless router. The setup was super easy. Even setting up our 3 Airport Expresses which are used for streaming music was simple to do. The only knock I would say is that it seems every time you go into the app, there's a firmware update, and those can take some time to complete. Otherwise, very happy with this new wireless router.

We run up to 20 devices at a time and the NightHawk handles it flawlessly! We can have guests over, all of our devices, and even the kids gaming online all at the same time with no slow downs. pretty impressive. The control via the App are an added bonus too. You can see what devices are on the network, add parental controls, and set 'cutoff' times for the kids on school nights. Overall, the performance and features are well worth the money. If you are considering an upgrade, get one of these.

This is the first time that my wife and I have bought our own devices for our internet, and I have to say, paying $5monthly to your ISP is a joke to rent their box. Now we get what we pay for, 100mb download speeds, this keeps us both happy with streaming movies and playing our video games. Thank you netgear! 0%lag issues and no dropped connections I 100% recommend this product.

Easy setup, easy firmware update, great whole house coverage. (The control lights are a bit annoying but you can turn some of them off.) Overall, this is a tremendous improvement from my previous WIFI router.

Legit dual band router

Great router, worth the buy.
Pros: NAS, Dynamic QoS, Alexa-enabled, the router works well
Cons: Looks upside when wall-mounted, kept erroring on the app while configuring for Alexa

Best wireless router

I've had over a dozen routers for my home and business the last 15 years and this is the best router I have ever had by far. The installation was a breeze and the WPS wizard is an added bonus. Logging into my stettings is also very simple especially after downloading the Netgear app, which in my opinion is a must.
