Excellent Router

I purchased this router after two of my colleagues, a cybersecurity expert and Systems engineer, both recommended this router independent of each other. Further, both had this same router. Set up was super easy and its speed and range for my 2500 sq ft home are exceptional. I was also very impressed with the downloadable app that allows you to change settings and monitor activity. Well worth every penny. Excellent router!

Powerful router

There are 7 of us in the house. On average we have over 15 electronic devices connected to the wifi. So i needed a strong router to handle the workload. To top it off, I'm an online gamer. This router is a beast and doesn't disappoint. I've had no issues with it. The parental controls are top notch. One of the best routers I have owned. I would recommend this model to anyone who wants a worry free powerhouse of a router.

Extremely easy to set up. From the box it took about 15 minutes because I had to get the IP address from my carrier. Otherwise, it would have been even less time! The router has great coverage throughout the house. My previous router had dead spots which have now completely disappeared with the Nighthawk. Reviews from several comparisons put this on top for 2018 prompting me to go be it a try. Certainly not disappointed!

Internet easier

I've used and set up a lot of routers in my life, but the NETGEAR Nighthawk has simplified my network setup and maintenance. It was a pain with my old router to keep track of which smart devices were on which network, the 2.4Ghz or 5Ghz. The Smart Connect feature has greatly simplified my life; it alone is worth the price in my opinion. I must also praise the parental controls, they're quite comprehensive. Highly recommended.

Great Router

I have 200 Gbps speed. I had a Belkin router but it was at least 5 years old and a budget buy. Would only give me speeds of about 85 Gbps. I got this hoping ro take advantage of the speed i was paying for. Amazingly i am getting speeds higher than what my plan says. With16 devices connected at the same time and 3 of them streaming HD video, my PC still got 220 Mbps across several speed tests. Easy setup and worth every penny.

Love it!

I just changed to a separate router and I love this one!! We had an awful time keeping connections, especially when our family was here, but even sometimes when it was just my husband and I here..now we have NONE and I'm so thrilled!!! Not only that it starts really fast (lost power during a storm the other day that shut it off) and it was so easy to set up (I'm 70 and had no problems). I would recommend it to everyone!!

Great for the Family

We used the stock router our cable company provided. I bought this because parents wanting to watch movies and I wanting to play video games, we needed to take turns. But with this, this fixed it all! We can control which has priority, and the router evenly distributed the bandwidth so everyone can enjoy. 9 connected devices and all of them have great speed, 3 gaming systems on Fortnite and Netflix in the living room with no lag!

Amazing Router

We always having difficulty with our TV, when we try to watched Tv, it's always so so very slowed, not enough bandwidth , we sort of fade up with it, never we realized the reason was that our router is not strong enough to deal with our ps 4,etc. but as soon as we installed NETGEAR Nighthawk AC2300 Smart Wi-Fi Router with MU-MIMO (R7000P), my god it's work like a charmed, we never had any problem anymore with lack of bandwidth.
