Awesome results and easy set up

We have a 3200 square foot home. Had been having trouble with our download speed and so purchased another router. The one we purchased had great reviews but didn't live up to the them. We took it back and bought this one. Amazing download speeds throughout the entire house. We stream on three smart tv's, have an XBOX, three computers and at least 8 personal devices. Finally everyone is happy.

A Major Leap Foward

I wanted to improve my WiFi coverage at home. This router did it in a snap. While the setup takes a bit longer than one would like, its detailed and you don't have to go back and tweak things for the best performance. I love having an app on my phone to quickly run my router, pause WiFi to specific devices, and easily swap devices between 5Ghz and 2.4Ghz bands automatically for best performance.

Great performance and value

With multiple devices in the house streaming hd including 4K content and gaming this router does a great job. Strong signal strength throughout the house on both bands, and I discovered that my actual ISP speed was about double what I could access through my old router. The browser interface is easy but highly customizable and the app is decent. Overall great router for a pretty reasonable price

Lightning Fast Wi-Fi

We updated our older NETGEAR router (which we've had for over 3 years) to the Nighthawk and are really happy with the ease of configuration and the lightning fast Wi-Fi connectivity. With two teenagers hogging most of the bandwidth, my wife and I are still able to connect with our devices from the den on one side of the house to the furthest bedroom on the other. I am very happy with this purchase.

Mega router

The nighthawk is a beast. Recommended by wirecutter (originally the sweet home), it definitely lives up to expectations. Very powerful reaching a block away from my home. Strong and consistent signal. Cool gadgets like bandwidth measuring, smart selection of long vs short range bandwidth, guest line with guest password, and content controls. I couldn't be happier. Definitely worth the extra money.

New Internet Set Up

We've been using the xfinity gateway modem for awhile and I was tired of the bottlenecking issue with all the things we have on out WiFi. The nighthawk was a recommendation my friend gave to me and I love it! The freedom to change setting and prioritize which devices need connection first with the QoS is a dream. If anyone is ever debating on upgrade I would recommend the nighthawk in a heart beat.

The best I've ever had

My kids have gotten older and all three are streaming on their own IPads along with my wife and myself my old router just couldn't keep up. There were spots in the house that were dead as far as WiFi reaching until we purchased our NETGEAR nighthawk. Now with dual bands we all can stream never losing WiFi or drops all throughout the entire house it's been the greatest purchase we've ever made.

Best Home/Gaming Router Available

I used to have another make of router but it does not come anywhere near the functionality of this one. Firstly, I am able to control/adjust all the settings of the router from an app on my cellphone remotely which is a great. If you have kids, this router is a must. They have incorporated the Circle app which allows very granular control of what they have access to and when they have access to it.
