Favorite router series - Nighthawk

Purchase this to replace my old Nighthawk AC1900 (R7000) - firmware got severely corrupted. Being a Netgear enthusiast, I purchased this R7000P (AC2300). I really like the configuration interface as well as the many features. The range and reliability of my wireless connections is excellent as well. I'll continue to stick with Netgear for future networking equipment.

Does the job

It's been probably 8 years since I replaced my modem and router so after doing some reviews I decided on this router and a Surfboard modem. Setup is easy, no issues there. It is definitely larger than I was expecting and the front lights up like the Vegas strip, but not worth taking a star off. Especially considering you can go into settings to deal with the light issue.

Good Router for Small Business

I purchased this router to run my small business computer and telephone network. It has 4 Ethernet outputs which I'be linked to multiple gigabit switches in order to connect farms of workstations and a camera surveillance system. We also have a public wifi hot-spot set up so our customers may access the internet without having access to our intranet. Everything works great!

Very good router

Had been using a Motorola and Linksys one for years. Always was a pain getting access to all its settings. This one was a breeze, hardly had to do anything at all and the reach is amazing. Used to lag and get really bad reception 6ft away before. Bought long Ethernet cables to go wired since router sucked. No issues at all so far with this one. Really happy with my purchase

The Nighthawk AC2300 router is by far the most superior router I have ever purchased! The setup is super easy and boy does the wifi connection run fast! My family and I have multiple smart devices in our home and not once have we lossed connection or even had a slow connection while all of the devices were running! I highly recommend this router you will not be disappointed!

Blazing fast and reliable

I moved into a new apartment where the internet company provided a combined modem/router. It was slow and dropped my connection at least 2x a day. I work from home so that was unacceptable.
This router along with the CM700 modem have tranfsormed my internet experience. Around my entire apartment and even outside, I get every single bit of my 1 Gbps internet plan. Love it!

Great coverage!

Great coverage and speed. Wanted to replace my Apple Airport Extreme and Apple Airport Express. This router outclasses and performs head and shoulders above Apple's offerings.
The range on this Netgear Nighthawk is fantastic. I used to need to use a Apple Airport Express to to extend my network in my house. No extender needed with Netgear Nighthawk AC2300. Great product.

Amazing

We went from using a New router and WiFi extender which produced 17 MB/s to this router which is placed in the same location as our old router and deleted the extension from the network. Same pc is getting 126MB/s at the complete opposite end of the house and on a different floor. House is only 1400 sf, but that says a lot. Happy with our purchase and would suggest to others.
