Router Upgrade

I had a Linksys router, which was about 5-6 years old. I decided to replace it with this one, and couldn't be happier. I chose this router because it offered the most up to date wireless protection protocols. I was also blessed with oth speed and range performance improvements. App access is so much more convenient than having to log in to the router with my PC.

Simple to use and Fast

The router basically installed itself! Better coverage than my old Buffalo or Cisco routers. I plugged this thing in, went upstairs to sit on the couch and by the time I had connected my computer wirelessly, it was already prompting me to finish the installation and web configuration. I'll have to do more tests and range checks, but boy-howdy is this a strong signal!

Fastest Router

I've recently cut the cable cord and chose to go with a cloud based TV service along with streaming sports package. Nothing is more frustrating than pausing and buffering during games and bug plays. I have yet to experience this since buying the nighthawk router. Also, when testing my download/upload speeds, I'm consistently above 110 mbps and I only pay for 100.

Easy to Use Good WIFI Range

I bought Nighthawk AC2300 router to replace my 4 year old TP Link N750. My connections have been a lot more stable. The WIFI range has increased I get any extra bar of WIFI in my downstairs now. The router was super easy to setup. I link the QoS menu I was able to identify and rename all the things that connect to my router to see what is using the most bandwidth.

Awesome Router

I went through 2 of the free routers from Optimum Cable. They CONSTANTLY dropped the signal and the 5Ghz only worked sometimes. This router is a dream! Easy to set up and just simply works. We're hooked up to 18 devices. 3 laptops, 3 iphones, 2 Rokus, 3 Nintendo DS, 2 Kindle Fires, 1 Kindle Paperwhite, Wireless printer, Nintendo WiiU, Nintendo Switch, Playstation 3.

Setup AC2300

Included setup info was non existent, directed me to go to netgear.com for help; kind of hard to do when the router won't connect to the internet. I finally used a second PC that was connected to the internet to troubleshoot the connection problems. Oh; and by the way I purchased this AC2300 to replace my AC1900 because the latest update, downloaded Feb 2019, bricked it.

Easy to set up

First time owning a Netgear product and I have to say it was very easy to set up. The app makes controlling the unit very easy and the included. It keeps app helps me manage what my kids are doing on the internet. I have a large family and a lot of devices and this unit handles all of it with no issues. I would highly recommend this unit for ease of use and reliability.

Great price, Great Product

The ability to choose which type of wifi with the MUMIMO is fantastic and handles all my home devices. Circle is built in and is great for monitoring your childrens activities on a per device basis, and the built in Armor security seems perfect for home users like me. The range extends far beyond my old ac wireless router and provides a solid connection for a typical home!
