Our whole family loves the NETGEAR Nighthawk

The NETGEAR Nighthawk AC2300 does everything our family hoped. My son, the gamer, says there are no lags or interruptions. My daughter streams her web and TV shows with no buffering issues. My wife and I enjoy it for everything from work to home budgeting and finance to Skyping to and ... you name it! The Nighthawk does what it promises. We love it! ƒ

Great Router, but app needs work

I give the router a 5/5 because it's powerful and looks awesome. Exactly as advertised. I'd like to also say though that the app needs some work... while stylish and intuitive, it struggles at times with loading times. In addition, I have the same issue that many people seem to have in that remote management simply doesn't work due to an unknown error.

Nighthawk AC2300 Review

Have a 100Mb/S cable connection and was using about an 8 year old Apple router. I have about 12 devices cool nnected via WiFi including two xboxes a ps4, multiple iPads, iPhones, and Apple TVs, and directv now for cable. I was getting serious slow down and disconnects with the old router. Switched to this one and all issues went away. Couldn't be happier.

Excellent, Stable

After two weeks of use, excellent router. I am no expert on networks, but it provides excellent coverage for a 2,700 sqtft home. Good speed near and away from router. No issues setting the router to automatically use one SSID with 5 and 2 hz. I have Verizon and I did not bridge the Verizon router to avoid issues with my data to the Verizon tv boxes.

Netgear AC2300

This router was a very easy to setup. Had all the features I needed like Guest account and MU-MIMO. The App for setting up the router works great. Best range of 3 previous routers, even better than more expensive ones. Streaming to FireStick and 2 cell phones without any problems. Ive been using it for about 3 weeks and it is perfect so far. No complaints.

Faster/better than most

No lag or stalling. Handles our four smart TVs, two iPads, two iphones, gaming consoles, and guest devices when we hosting a party/gathering. Easy set-up with an easier app to control all setting to manage your device. Would recommend for purchase even for beginner who are not familiar with the difference and perks of owning one versus internet carrier model.

Amazing for the price

Had several inferior units until I read several reviews (wire cutter/etc.) and ordered this unit. Easy install, online set up, ba-bing. Increased my internet speed by 40Mbps from the other side of a plaster house. All in all the NetGeqr products have never disappointed but for the money this unit was beyond expectation. Especially for a non-tech savvy person.

A big upgrade!

We got this to replace the router supplied by our isp. That router would only tenuously connect to devices on the edges if the house and would start disconnecting devices if too many were connected. This router was very easy to setup, has not disconnected any devices, has increased speeds by around 20%, and has increased the wifi's range. Could not be happier.
