Easy setup and fast connections

Replaced old router after ransom attack and found old router was part of the problem - no internal protection in the old router which allowed culprit to embed and there was nothing I could do to stop the attack. This was a second attack in six months because I was still using the old router. The Nighthawk has protection that my old router did not.

Fast and reliable!!

Purchased this router for my 2400 sq. ft., two story home. We have 9 devices before guests coming over that stream (no cable box so all TVs are using the router to stream internet service as well). Has yet to lag or be an issue. Super fast! Former 'dead zones' are no longer and coverage extends well into the back yard. So glad I purchased this.

Excellent home router

Delivers sweet, sweet WiFi to the farthest reaches of my house with great speed from my fiber connection. Don't expect a full 1Gbps over WiFi from any router but this is likely as close as you'll get. Firmware is full-featured and requires little to get up and running and only slightly more configuration for power users to get the most out of it.

Upgraded to the tri band for smart tv's and pc

The update has really helped the signal strength for the smart tv's, cell phones and pc's. Have fiber optic internet. Verizon signal went to crap about 2 yrs ago. The WiFi power in this router along with phone booster keeps me from dropping calls. I can sure tell the difference. Netflix doesn't wait to load. Took care of a lot of issues. Thanks.

Nighthawk AC2300 router

I've had the Netgear Nighthawk AC2300 for about a month now and absolutely love it! I used it to boost my wifi signal in our two level home and the second I plugged it in I noticed improved signal and performance. Setup was fairly easy and once it was complete it had helped the performance of all our connected devices. Highly recommend this router!

Love My Nighthawk!

I'm a 55 year old grandma, certified technophobe! Yet this router was incredibly easy to set up. The phone app walked me through each step. I had it up and running in 20' with zero frustration. It has worked like a charm. I love the tips Netgear sends via email. I recommend this to technophiles and technophobes alike! It was reasonably priced too!

Didn't know what I was missing

I knew my old Netgear router was reaching its breaking point. Heck, we would have to unplug it multiple times a day just to get our wifi connection back. But I never realized what I was missing or hour bad it was until I upgraded to the AC2300. No more plugging and unplugging. Faster downloads! Simple to set up! Should have upgraded years ago!

Very easy to use and family friendly

I got this router because of the built in security and content blocking. Having children in this world means we need to help them not be bombarded with media, and other trash on the internet. That is why I chose this router and it has lived up to its marketing. So easy to set up and get going. Even the added security and content restrictions is easy.
