I have always wanted to invest into a nice router and I finally bit the bullet and baught one. So far this is a beast of one. Definitely has a lot of nice home security features and parental controls. Love it.

Has all the bells and whistles. I can even turn off WiFi access to any devices in my home even while I am not home. Helps when you have kids and need to limit internet time.

It had been 7 years since I bought my last router. In that time games, Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, etc came along and the need for speed was there. I didn't realize how much I was missing till I bought the Nighthawk. I now have my home automation on the 2.4 channel and my phones on 5g. What a difference. I was paying for 150 MPS and wasn't even coming close to being able to use it. The speed is phenomenal and the control interface is so simple my 84 year old father could set it up. I've bought nothing but Netgear for the past 7 years because of that ease. Best router I've owned so far.

We use a lot of tablets, laptops, and smart TVs, and this router is very quick and never bogs down. Also has excellent range.
