We upgraded our WiFi router and after much research chose the Netgear 7000P. The two main reasons for choosing the 7000P were the area of Wi-Fi coverage (large home) and Parental Controls. So far have been very pleased with both and the overall performance.

Fastest router ever used

This router is a really fast and reliable router with not only an easy set up but also tons of features. Also it looks really amazing on my shelf. This is a really useful for not just gamers but also for larg families or someone with a lot of wifi devices.

Easy setup

This router is good for both the beginner and more advanced user for networking. The basic setup takes care of everything that you need without having to configure all of these little settings. Plus the additional parental controls make it good for parents.

Great Router for Gaming

I recently purchased a nighthawk router because i upgraded my internet speed to gigabit. The AC2300 is more than capable of handling the speeds thrown at it from multiple sources. With over 30 devices connected in my house the AC2300 does its job in spades.

Life Changing Router

I love this router so much. My old one was capping my speeds at 32Mb/s and now I can reach over 2Gb/s. It's made a world of difference since I work from home part time. I highly recommend this router; you might not know the speeds that you're missing out on.

Excellent whole house coverage

I have stayed with Netgear for years now. I needed something more powerful and broader coverage. I also cut cable so I needed a router that could handle multiple streams. This router has been excellent covering 4600 square feet with no repeater or extender.

Super Easy!

I dreaded getting a new router...figured everything would go wrong and I'd be without internet and on the phone for hours. BUT! The Netgear app gave me step by step instructions and it was super easy!! Bravo, Netgear!! I would tell anyone to buy this router.

Replaced my Comcast unit

I bought a Netgear Nighthawk AC2300 router and CM700 modem to replace my rented Comcast equipment. Very easy installation. The AC2300 covers much more area and has worked flawlessly as has the modem. More than can be said for Comcast! Definitely recommended.
