Great router

I had the original R7000 for about 5 years until it died of old age and Arizona heat. Just purchased the R7000P as my replacement, and setup was a breeze. Looks like they even added some features. I love this thing. Nighthawk for life!

Powerful and fast

I bought this router when we moved into a larger home and started sharing the internet with my sister who streams video a lot. This router increased the range (we now have more than we need) and speed substantially. Very happy with it!

Solid

We had netgear N750 for 5 years. One month ago, the wifi 2.4 Ghz dropped. For that reason, we had issue to connect to our wifi printer. So we upgrade it to this router. So far we love it. The setup was easy. The 2.4 Ghz has been solid.

Super Router

This router is far stronger than my old router and has all the latest bells and whistles so is more secure. Easy set up and carefree. My only complaint is that the lights are far too bright, needlessly bright. But that is a minor issue.

Handles our connected household

Our modem/router unit supplied by our TV/Internet provider was giving us horrible connection reliability. I connected our Nighthawk to the Ethernet port on the modem and the connection issues of all our many different devices went away!

Replaced my router from Xfinity

I purchased the Netgear Nighthawk AC2300 Dual Band Smart WiFi Router (R7000P) to replace the rental router from Xfinity. My whole house, which is 2,600+ Sq/Ft has improved service and I saved money over the price to rent the equipment.

Great so far!

I have had it for two weeks now and I have been really impressed. It is super fast and been very reliable. I have yet to use it, but I think the remote app is a great concept. It's far superior to any router I have ever owned so far!

Huge upgrade from 1700

Had a Netgear ac1700 few yrs old and it seemed to struggle when both video game systems and all other devices were going. We've had no issues and longer range with this router. Still trying to figure out all the benefits it provides.
