Setup was moderately difficult

I had to go back and forth between Nighthawk and Netgear apps in the end there were confusing choices on which network was appropriate. I was stuck on the last two steps. I wish there was a way to detect a consumer is stuck on a step and help is offered by tech support either by mail or by phone.

Since we got our new router set up it has worked great. I especially like the Nighthawk app for my iPhone!...very useful.

This is by far the best wireless router I have ever used. It's very simple for people with limited knowledge to use, and it's capabilities are amazing. I have my home wired but use this for all my wireless devices.

I researched dual band routers for weeks, all had some bad reviews due to lack of knowledge or real problems, it's hard to distinguish! I chose the AC2300 because it had newer features that I wanted, no one wants to buy old technology. It was super easy to set up, I downloaded App and it was easy to follow. We've had no problems that I was experiencing with old single band unit. I'm pleased with it as long as it doesn't quit on me

Netgear Nighthawk router

The installation was very easy, it tells you step by step what to do. We had used two WiFi boosters to try and cover our house. Once we installed the AC2300 we now have coverage with out having to switch devices in different parts of the house.
