Very Nice Router

Upgraded to fiber Internet provider and needed a new router. Did some research and settled on the Nighthawk AC2300. This router has been a great purchase. Was in a field 200 YARDS from the router and still had wifi signal.

Nighthawk works great!

R7000P was installed, setup and configured without a hitch. Has been working Night and day since turning it on. I didn't use the Quick Start method for getting it going, just manually kicked it into Go. After just over one week, all is fine and dandy. I like the fact you can turn the lights off at night.

Just what we needed

We did away with cable a long time ago and only stream what we want to watch. Also do a lot of online reading, research and web design. Bought this to replace our router that was zapped with lightening - and what an improvement. Love it!

This router has made a difference with our 6 streaming TVs..3 cell phones...2 wireless security cameras. Everything runs smooth without pauses or freezing.

Best I've Ever Had

In my lifetime, I've owned or rented my share of modem-router combos. The idea of having a router that was a separate unit made me nervous. But, the requirements of my current cable company pushed me to try it since I became disenchanted with their equipment.
To my amazement, installation and setup of my Netgear Nighthawk AC2300 was almost plug and play! Coupled with the Netgear app, it was easy as pie! Also, with the equipment my cable company provided, I used to lose internet access every couple of hours. Since I purchased my Netgear Nighthawk AC2300, I have not had this problem. Plus, my download and upload speeds are consistently faster!
