Our house is long and has hard to reach places for wifi. Hooked this device up and we are now connected like never before!! Heads up, you may need to initially connect with Ethernet cable via web browser. How ever you do it, it’s worth it

Works Good With High speeds

Good router and working as expected.
I get good coverage in entire house with no need to add a range extender.
Only reason i have for one less star is that antenna seems to be falling from time to time showing some flaw in make quality

Bought this router, in addition to my existing R8000P, to set up a protected network and since this was one of the few NetGear models that is ExpressVPN compatible.
As if this writing router works as described (and expected).

The Wi-Fi has very good range on the 2.4 band (through walls and reaching my yard boundaries up-to 100 feet. The 5.0 band is not reliable with lapses in active internet connection even when there is a strong signal, which requires switching to the 2.4 band for internet.
