It appears to send a stronger signal because I have not noticed buffering. The signal appears to have the same range because a Roku stick TV images are no clearer than the previous routers images. My previous router worked very well but was old so I updated. I am not sure things changed that much.

This is a great router. Supports all our devices and I love be able to set parental controls through it. Glad I finally changed my old router out. It was way past time.

My home is three levels and 4000 square feet. My computer is direct, but the kids get the WiFi--and their speed in their rooms is almost equal to mine. Nice.
