I caught wind of this router as a result of the Wirecutter's review and purchased it alongside the Netgear CM500 modem after having used an 8-year-old modem/router combo. I was pulling 12mb/s down, 3mb/s up from RCN without full coverage throughout my apartment and knew I was paying for faster internet than that; with the combo of the CM500 and the AC2300, I'm now pulling 55mb/s down, 10mb/s up with full coverage in my apartment. Love the smart 2.4gHz/5Hz switcher'” I feel like that's helping manage things even further.
