Worst router/modem combo I’ve ever used

So many issues from the get go. Setting up is a pain. App doesn’t work well. Internet is constantly going out even though we never had issues before switching to this product on top of our ISP confirming nothing on their end has changed. Our 5 WiFi is password protected and obviously requires it to use WiFi. Our 2.4 is asp password protected however it appears as an unsecured network and will let anyone access it without the password. Trying resetting it and closing out of the app to no avail. Would NOT recommend this to anyone! Steer clear!

The set up was as easy as downloading the app, follow the prompts and in a couple of minutes I was able to set my own password and network name.

THE ABSOLUTE WORST PRODUCT

Have had this router for about 2-3 years. Switched from the basic one I got from my internet provider, thinking it would be a great upgrade but I was wrong. I’ve had nothing but issue after issue with it and especially the stupid nighthawk app. I seem to not be the only one with an IOS device that’s been having issues with the admin/password login thing more than usual since the last firmware update. I also can’t figure out why it connects me using anywhere access when I’m at home using the stupid nighthawk app. The WORST purchase I’ve ever made and will be going with another brand. Having to pay for support is ridiculous as well especially when they charge like crazy for their crappy routers. I’ll never ever recommend netgear to anyone ever again.
