My internet had been failing numerous times per day for weeks. After blaming the provider, I installed this new router and problem seems to be resolved. I am very happy.

This thing is amazing! We are only paying for small mb internet but we are getting BLAZING FAST SPEEDS! Might as well paint this bad boy red put a lightning bolt on it and call it FLASH!

AC1750 Review

The unit works really great once you get it set up. I tried for several weeks to set it up unsuccessfully. I downloaded the setup application at least 9 times before the setup completed successfully. The only way I was successful was when I used the application. I really like the way it works now.

I decided to save money and buy a modem/router rather than pay the monthly rental fee. I wanted something that would be robust, as I worked from home and a solid modem was essential. While it is true you can find cheaper modems, why go cheap when eventually this will pay for itself? Some of the setup does seem to be a bit "technical". My unit is so old, I should perform a firmware upgrade. But my philosophy is "if it ain't broke don't fix it". I have been completely satisfied with the performance and longevity of this modem.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Easy set up. Slow to connect at times. Net gear app a little shady and doesn’t reflect the same settings as netgear does online. Overall good quality for the buck.
