we wanted to replace our old wifi router and modem combo, and this was our second replacement after another product was defective. it was simple to set up and use, while it does not have all the extra features of other night hawk routers it is stable (more stable than our previous systems) and the speeds and reliabilty so far has been great

Cable modem

I have had a great experience with the new cable modem. It is easy to set up and work through any changes I need. The options for visitor access make it even more flexible.
In addition when I had a problem due to a power surge the support team helped rest the modem and all issues were addressed. I would buy net gear equipment every time!!

Powerful Combo

In the two years I've had this router. I've only reset it twice. It has ran on different speeds of internet and has always performed amazingly. For about 9 months it was in storage and was also moved around a lot. It still does very well with all of my needs. I have a lot of devices hooked up to it and it still performs above my expectations.

Provides acceptionally high bandwith

I have been using this router/modem for the past 2-3 years now and it has served its purposr well. This product is best coupled with the comcast servive provider but it shouldnt matter. I love the fact that this router supports speeds up to 5gbs. This ptoduct will give you a clean connection to any online services with no bottlenecking or latency.

Wonderful product

Purchased the netgear wi fi cable modem router because the one we were leasing from the internet company just didn't provide the strength we needed. The new device was easy to install and will service all of our online devices...times have changed and many devices are connected to the internet now and are controlled by our phones. Wonderful product

Where do I begin?! Since the first time I purchased a netgear desktop WiFi adapter, the brand name has been a part of our family providing us with an exceptional connection to our ISP. My last purchase of the 1750 modem router has removed the concept of video buffering as I know it. Thank you Netgear and your are the one md only reliable gateway to the web.

Very nice modem

I bought this to replace our cable providers Modem as it was performing and supplying us with the speed needed for our household or even what we were paying for. This unit set up was quick and straightforward. We are now pulling speeds above what we are subscribed at with up to a dozen items connected at once. I wouldn't think twice about buying again.

This is the best router I own. Only have one problem with it and it may not even be the modem/router. It has trouble connecting wirelessly to my 2012 Samsung smart tv. May be the the tv. Other than that. I use it for gaming and connect lots of devices to it wireless and wired. I work from home and fill all ethernet ports. The device still puts out good speeds.
