Needs better setup direction.

Great Customer Support

Marketing Error! Rename your Router

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Netgear AC1750 Smart? WiFi Router had nice packaging and was easy to open. Yeah that’s pretty much it! Oh. I would change the name though to the Netgear 1750 Genius Router! Smart is helping you through steps. The Netgear Genius WiFi router eliminates steps. Does steps for you and honestly ask you a couple of questions mostly to determine how easy you really want your router experience to be. Everyone has had their nightmare router experience and 1 is simply enough of not 1 to many now that we have a genius in the family!

Only good if

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this because my kid keeps getting on his game system and staying up late. I wanted something I could control that with but as long as he logs out and logs back in he can get around the parental settings. They need to work on that issue. It is ok if you just want it for the router part. I’m taking mine back and going to get something else see if I have better luck with something else.
