I was excited when I found out my building uses NetGear. My Parents live in the mountains and they have a NetGear and they have great signal all the time. When I learned my Apartment building used NetGear I knew Id have the best Wifi signal.

Great Router

After I got the Netgear84-5G Modem activated through my internet provider the combination is much faster than my internet providers Modem/Router. In the long run I will be saving money versus renting from my internet provider.

The AC1750 was easy to setup as long as you follow the directions. I did not use WPS so it took a few minutes longer, but it was pretty easy. I now how good wireless access down in the basement where I had none previously.

Great Signal Boost, but system complications

Easy set up and install. The signal strength really jumped and I noticed much improved performance. Then only complaint, and I am not sure this is unique to this equipment, is the disconnect it creates for things like my Sonos network where not all speakers can connect due to the different connection points.

The extender did exactly what I intended. Boosting my wi-fi to the backyard so that I could use my projector without a drop in service.
